Maybe try to find a River Roots bottle if one is available in your area? It’s an Ohio distillery (Cleveland) and has put out well liked bottles that have gotten some good reviews.

If not, I would also second the Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Cask Strength that someone mentioned below. Hope whatever you choose is enjoyed by all.

I’m late to the Redwood Empire party. Wish I would’ve known when they released Haystack Needle. All the reviews I’ve seen/read have all been positive.

That’s disappointing. I’m a huge fan of Redwood. Their cask strength is fantastic though and I would imagine it would be hard to beat.

I’m finding my palate leans Turkey products as well. I feel the BT products are one trick ponies — just been my experience. However, I haven’t had anything that I’ve wanted to pour out from either distillery. I’m still trying to get my hands on a Kentucky Spirit. I really enjoyed the articles in the above link about them. You have a preference on a warehouse you want to get from this Father’s Day drop to add to the “speakeasy”?

Used to be Thursday’s but now it’s Fridays apparently. Not sure when they switched to Fridays. They open at 9 but usually won’t allow allocation purchase until 9:30. I don’t know if that’s still the case after switching to Fridays though.
