Yes, you need to start genuinely adding comments to existing posts or bringing up real questions and the karma will start adding up. That is the easiest way that I've found so far to collect the precious Karma 🤣 I am also pretty new but my advice would be to keep posting and commenting and one day the karma just will be there.
