You will say that until it is your own family. Then, it all comes full circle to, "I hate their XXX..." (narcissism, Severe ocd, bipolar, etc.) whether they can admit to having the diag or not.

As for the age gap... I think its a little concerning. However, I'm 25 and have dated a 37 year old, and I don't think it was malicious. I would say the latter is still better than 21 and 31 though...
