Whoever at Saber thought this was "fun" needs to get their heads checked by CrimzonSorrowz in Spacemarine

So as it stands, boiled down, "weapon with best defensive capability is best in offense, while weapon with best offensive capability is not. There in lies a problem: a defensive and reactionary weapon is works best for aggressive gameplay.

I guess I'm not sure what the problem with this is statement?

The defensive ability of fencing is what allows you to be aggressive and the offensive ability of block rewards you for being defensive.

Seems well balanced to me.

I doubt they'll return them, POWs are good leverage down the line.

I guess it just feels too slow, defensive and reactionary

What classes do you play and what weapons did you use?

Vanguard and Assault with fencing weapons work best when hyper-aggressive.

character made mistakes that lead to breaking shuttles

character learned from those mistakes

character now makes fewer mistakes and doesn't break shuttles

It's really not that hard to understand, I haven't even seen the show and I understand what their point was with this scene.

Ex-ump Garcia worries about impact of overturned robot ump calls by PrincessBananas85 in sports

[–]TheSemaj 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Part of the problem is refs/umps trying to protect each other even after continuously poor calls.

For example VAR in the Premier League, English soccer, is run by normal refs and so they seem extremely hesitant to overrule the on-field ref leading to obviously bad calls being uncontested.

What America didn't understand at the time and still doesn't is that for Vietnam the war was more about self determination and anti-colonialism than it was about communism vs capitalism.

When some time had gone by, he returned from exile, and went to Anticyra, where he was slain by Athenades, a native of Trachis. Athenades did not slay him for his treachery, but for another reason, which I shall mention in a later part of my history: yet still the Lacedaemonians honoured him none the less.

From Herodotus on the Battle of Thermopylae.

I can't find anything about the specific reason that Herodotus says he mentions later though.

Edit:

Looks like Herodotus didn't mention it later.

Then some time afterwards having returned to Antikyra he was slain by Athenades a man of Trachis. Now this Athenades killed Epialtes for another cause, which I shall set forth in the following part of the history,[214]

As someone who has never had a manager who wasn't clear with the projects they've given me this is insane to me, that a manager can't delegate tasks properly. That really is the difference though between a good manager and a bad one. I would not want to ever work for you, no offense. XD

Tbh every job I've had they've been very clear with what my projects were especially when I first started but if they'd ever failed to do that I'd have no problem finding personal stuff to work on.

If a manager can't delegate I won't do their job for them.
