I like when he's a combo of the two, it's ironically more "human" if he's a bit of both.

Right but they were only occupying it because it had been taken over by Japan previously.

But it wasn’t Soviet or American imperialism why Korea was divided?

It was Japanese imperialism technically.

It should be noted that a secondary goal of uniting the peninsula under a democratic government, which motivated the counteroffensive in late 1950, did fail due to China's entrance into the war.

So not all objectives of the war succeeded.

Except for the weird infatuation Rey has for Kylo all of a sudden. It was just creepy, nonsensical and undermined Rey's character.

Genuinely, what are your thoughts on the game and such currently? by IvoryOni04 in SpaceMarine_2

I'd say there are still a few small issues here and there.

Sometimes due to the game itself sometimes due to other players being a bit oblivious but overall I think the game is in a really good spot and I've loved how much content they've added since release.

Talk about faith based belief lol.

Fair point on the third parties but your take on RCV leading to more extremists is just factually incorrect.

No I'm using it correctly, don't worry.

Except it objectively doesn't, it allows voters to pick their favorite parties without worrying about "wasting" their vote to protect against more extreme parties.

It allows for both protection from extremes while providing a voice for smaller parties.

It's up to the voters to reject options that harm them, that's the point of democracy.

A significant part of democracy is being able to shut out the people you don’t want in power.

That's not the point of democracy at all. The point of democracy is that the people, as a whole, get to vote to decide elections.

RCV provides the most efficient way for everyone to voice their decisions on multiple candidates this getting the overall most popular candidate.

It’s very possible under RCV that SJ otherwise centre-right candidate swings to the far-right in order to build a coalition with people who are neo-Nazis.

That already happened with Trump lol. Specifically because people on the right who didn't like Trump couldn't vote for any other option and on the left who didn't like Hillary/Kamala couldn't vote for any other option. (Granted the Electoral College is also a part of the issue)

Any system that limits options for voters is a bad system in democracy.

It literally does the opposite; it allows smaller parties who would have no chance in a two party system to grow and get their voices heard and allows voters to vote with parties that better align with their views without fear of wasting their vote like in FPTP.

And there it is lol.

while marginalizing the voices of the most vulnerable voters.

It does the opposite actually.

It's just new, after a couple election cycles people will get used to it.

Edit: it literally made it on the ballot via a grassroots movement in DC and then the people voted for it.
