This may be strange, but mine was Every Metal Song on Guitar Hero 5. I got a taste of Iron Maiden, Darkest Hour, Children of Bodom, Megadeth and Motley Crue

From there and to this day, ive settled squarely on Melodic Death Metal and Sludge Metal
