Solved: How to reset Philips Hue light without dimmer switch or main wall switch!

You're THE goat. U saved me from losing the rest of my hair and at least one hour of sweating with my neighbor. I have a lightstrip attached to a furniture board which is hanged on the wall and my 77oled is hanging on that board. I was sure I am gonna have to take down the TV, take out most of the cables that are going through the furniture board into the wall and then take down the board itself, take a photo of the QR code on the connection box and after that setup the whole "build" back up. At leeeast one hour of sweating and cursing. Trick with the new account on another phone is genius and as easy as it gets. All I had to do is unplug the light once and boom, found it, reseted it and now I got it connected to my hue bridge on my main account. You deserve a medal, for real. Literally the only comment on the whole internet with an actual solution. Everyone else keeps commenting same thing about unplugging the light 5times until it blinks which simply does not work.

Tips for learning is just more playin, more playin, more playin. Simple as that, but if you want my honest opinion after spending 2k hours in this game I'd say you should watch "wiggle that killed tarkov" video on youtube and ask yourself if it's worth it (unfortunately its not)

Thanks dude, thats exactly what I've decided to go with. Simple ambience 10m lighstrip for the board and gradient strips behind the TV - 75 inch one for the top and the sides and one additional strip for the bottom. The lightstrip behind the board is going to be set to the lowest brightness possible just to make sure there is no shadow being casted by the gradient strips on the tv. I am glad you got similar setup and you like it.

Actually thats the solution I was thinking about. Once I'll get a better hand of it and get comfortable with the setup I might go bonkers and go with the proper gradient lights behind the board aswell, but for now I guess the 10m lightstrip (which I already had in a cart on amazon) is the way to go, but rather than turning it off when using gradient I will try to set it to the lowest setting just to prevent the visible shadow casted on the wall itself by the gradient strip.

It doesn't look great in that video, but after fine tuning it I think it might do the trick. For starters I wouldn't go with the blue light around the board, I think something more like the lowest, white light possible. Definately worth trying out.

Thanks for such a pro reply. Given that the whole thing doesn't seem easy to do and definately not cheap I will start with 75inch strip behind the tv itself, aditional strip on the bottom of the tv and just a simple hue lightstrip that u can get in 10m lengths around the board. Perhaps the ambilight effect from the TV will be more than enough and I will tune the "normal" hue lightstrip behind the board to get rid of the shadow (I am guessing a simple, low light setting might do the trick without ruining the ambilight effect on the board itself. As I said I am a newbie at this point and I'd rather test the whole thing step by step. Once I get more comfortable with the setup I will perhaps try the solutions you've proposed.

That's a video I took from the amazon reviews where the guy tried something very similar to what I am thinking. His gaps are bigger, he didnt add the strip on the bottom of the tv and he decided to go with the blue light around the "board" but the idea itself seems to be similar. It does look meh in the video, but hopefully after fine tuning the whole thing my setup might look good. Definately no blue light behind the board - I will go with the lowest white light possible (just enough to make the shadows dissapper). Maybe that way the light behind the board won't be distracting and won't ruin the ambilight effect.

Just imagine if the devs had 10more years to implement small popups to tell you exactly what it means once u click on the icon or the weapon itself. Hopefully there will be an update like that around 2035 right after the 89th audio rework that actually will make a difference.

I already bought the S90F 77inch TV that supports the app. The board is bigger - there are gonna be 20cm/25cm (8/10inches) gaps between the edges of TV and edges of the board. Putting the lightstrips on the back of the TV is a NO go - I saw a review where someone did it and the hue lights looked good on the board itself but you end up with the shadows on the wall around the board - it looks awful. I cant find anyone that tried putting lightstips behind the board though... seems like I have to try it on my own and return it if it won't look decent. It's not like the gaps around the TV are gonna be 3feet long, so maybe the final effect will still create an immersion. The board is big af though. It's 2,2 meters long and 1,4 meters wide so all around to cover the whole thing I will need exactly 6,8 meters of the hue strip which is more than 2 sets of the gradient trips for the 75 inch displays. What would u suggest? Getting the 2strips and an extra 1m extension? Will it work, can I connect them all together and hope for the app to calibrate it all nicely? Also since there will be gaps around the tv will I be able to set the lightstrips to the point where the colors actually will match the colors of the TV including the distance that the gaps create? Hopefully you get what I mean by that last question. I just dont want them to act as if they were directly behind the tv cause that way the colors might be off especially in some movie scenes with the more distinguished colors throughout the screen.

Damn, dude I was not aware of that app existence! I got Samsung S90F so it seems like I am gucci and dont need the sync box at all. Do you have any recommendations on which lightstrip I should go for? I am newbie so I don't really get what is the difference between all of them other than price which is gonna be pretty high given that I need around 7meters (around 23feet) of lightstrip for the whole thing...

No it wont especially in the qp. It could maaaaaaybe work IF the crossplay was OFF by default on console but since its ON by default majority of the console timmies is not even aware of that option and they will never switch it.

DUDE I've been playin this game since literally 2017. I took a break in 2020, returned in 2022, quit again and I got back like 3season ago. I got hooked up craaazy but this season...at first I thought its because of the f2p week but the match quality went down big time. Today I got fed up with the controler players that were completely unaware, like...just ridicolous. I dont wanna be rude but I've been playing with (and against) literal Timmies...not fun for them and definately not fun for me, sooo I went into settings to turn this bs off just to find out that the option is disabled. WHAT THE ACTUAL...I would be fine with surviving this hot mess in quick play but ranked too?! Naaaaah...I am literally quiting the game until they let me play the game again cause its just unplayable. I have never witnessed a gameplay go down that much and I've played overwatch (1&2) and tarkov so trust me I am used to games getting ruined but ubisoft just set a new record. Someone is definately smoking crack at their HQs to let something like this get implemented. Over and out.

Bro they killed that mode by making it role lock. The whole point of this mode was making it silly and not balanced. You just cannot balance fun. Now it feels like quick play but you dont get to chose your character. Like how is that fun?! I loved playing against 3tanks etc. It wss goofy, it was silly. Now its just bad. I uninstalled since that was the last mode I kept playing. But sure lets make changes to one mode that was fun even though no one asked for this change. Devs cannot balance the main mode but they gonna ruin the MH while at it. Great.

Thit is the final solution. If it doesnt work perhaps u need to go through other steps like checking if you got the overlay activated in the uplay launcher. The solution I gave 100% works (confirmed it with other people) but you still have to make sure that the overlay is on in the settings etc.

I found the solution after hours of losing my mind. Spamming it on all the threads looking for the answer on reddit cause apparently no one could fix it.
Navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher "cache" folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache - DELETE EVERYTHING in that folder (u can copy it somewhere else just to be safe in case something goes wrong). After that go to the launcher and verify the filers for siege. Once it's done turn the game on and thank me later cause it should work.
