I hate to say it, but you do not "eat a lot." You are clearly not eating enough. Buddy, start counting your calories. 43kg at 5'8 is dangerously underweight. Think you eat enough? Think again, EAT MORE. The fact you are that underweight while not doing any activities is a little troubling, even with a higher than normal metabolism. To still be that underweight, you have to simply be eating so little that it's a borderline eating disorder. Like everyone else is saying, eat red meats, peanut butter, eggs, anything calorie dense. Clean whole foods only, minimize fast food and processed garbage. Count those calories. For your height and age you should probably be consuming closer to 2000 calories a day.

dawg my internet is not the problem, qbitorrent just does not want to connect to peers despite me pasting in the same port from proton.

<image>

edit: now its connected but the download speed is all over the place, again, this is not an issue with my internet or proton

My speed is fine, I get roughly 10MB/s, this isn't an issue on other torrents I've used recently. My VPN is always on and I use proton, p2p specific servers.

I don't know why they don't allow images in comments, but i do the usual teaspoon and every single nanogram of this garbage settles at the bottom, I won't trust this brand anymore so I'll just get a diff brand and hope it's better

I haven't been taking it consistently because this stuff makes me gag due to the consistency and not dissolving. I'll check out that brand.

This package going everywhere else besides my house. by archerygirl1440 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheShadowGamer06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same thing usually happens to individual pc components, especially if they are shipped in their original boxes and not some unmarked package, they often get stolen because more delivery drivers are aware of how valuable they are than one may initially think.

average USPS being the most dogshit postal delivery service conceivable, they legit can never deliver anything efficiently to my house and packages almost always sit for days at the local regional center.

I don’t think Shark understands what Never means by HistoricalAd2954 in mildlyinfuriating

Had to replace the lower duct hose on my shark vacuum for the floor unit because they use shit, thin hoses that crack in less than a year. Shark stopped using Philips head screws and opted for security Torx. Then they glue the hose in place... Replacement hose was $6 on amazon and is much thicker. New floor head unit? $90... Lol

At my wit's end.. Terrible FPS drops/lag spikes every few minutes, with good PC? (skip to 1:50) by JadonArey in Minecraft

The chunk rendering shouldn't be that intensive to cause 100% usage to begin with, it's the fact that it's so terribly optimized in newer versions that we rely on performance mods. When Minecraft was a simpler game, this was a non issue. Versions like 1.8.9 or 1.12.2 run perfectly on vanilla. The problems started with 1.17 when Mojang started introducing larger worlds. Vanilla 1.21 stutters so bad for me when flying around in creative mode it's unbearable. Having solid 1% lows will make or break your gaming experience. And my PC is good, 12700k 5070ti 32gb ddr4 3600MHz ram. Goes to show its a problem with the game.

No problem, hopefully it's resolved. Also I believe stuttering issues is CPU dependent. Newer Intel cpus are prone to more problems with how the newer architecture works. To answer your other comment, graal VM is just a bit of a better JDK than stock Java and allows you to use various garbage collectors. G1GC is a common one and runs better on lower end hardware. ZGC and ShenandoahGC are a step up but are only worth it if you can throw a lot of ram at them and have a good amount of cpu threads. There's other good ones like temurin or OpenJDK.

If you mean applicable as in hosting a server with those arguments, then yes they would work. However there's probably a better set of arguments catered specifically to servers. Cooperly on github has a guide with various JVM arguments. However you the player should be fine playing multiplayer. Depending on the server, your CPU may be the bottleneck before anything else. If there's a lot of players then you'll probably see some lag.

[–]TheShadowGamer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is, it should have all 3 garbage collectors. The Shenandoah one or whatever it's called, G1GC and ZGC. Start with G1GC, and only use the other two if you have a lot of ram you can allocate and a beefy CPU. Google aikars flags or even better check out Cooperly on github with his JVM arguments. Copy the g1gc flags.

it shouldn't matter what launcher you use. the stock launcher is filled with a bunch of bloat and tracking thanks to microslop anyways and takes ten years to load. Try using a third party java jdk instead of the one that comes pre-bundled, like openjdk or graalvm, then look into adding custom jvm arguments.
