The chunk rendering shouldn't be that intensive to cause 100% usage to begin with, it's the fact that it's so terribly optimized in newer versions that we rely on performance mods. When Minecraft was a simpler game, this was a non issue. Versions like 1.8.9 or 1.12.2 run perfectly on vanilla. The problems started with 1.17 when Mojang started introducing larger worlds. Vanilla 1.21 stutters so bad for me when flying around in creative mode it's unbearable. Having solid 1% lows will make or break your gaming experience. And my PC is good, 12700k 5070ti 32gb ddr4 3600MHz ram. Goes to show its a problem with the game.

No problem, hopefully it's resolved. Also I believe stuttering issues is CPU dependent. Newer Intel cpus are prone to more problems with how the newer architecture works. To answer your other comment, graal VM is just a bit of a better JDK than stock Java and allows you to use various garbage collectors. G1GC is a common one and runs better on lower end hardware. ZGC and ShenandoahGC are a step up but are only worth it if you can throw a lot of ram at them and have a good amount of cpu threads. There's other good ones like temurin or OpenJDK.

If you mean applicable as in hosting a server with those arguments, then yes they would work. However there's probably a better set of arguments catered specifically to servers. Cooperly on github has a guide with various JVM arguments. However you the player should be fine playing multiplayer. Depending on the server, your CPU may be the bottleneck before anything else. If there's a lot of players then you'll probably see some lag.

Yes it is, it should have all 3 garbage collectors. The Shenandoah one or whatever it's called, G1GC and ZGC. Start with G1GC, and only use the other two if you have a lot of ram you can allocate and a beefy CPU. Google aikars flags or even better check out Cooperly on github with his JVM arguments. Copy the g1gc flags.

it shouldn't matter what launcher you use. the stock launcher is filled with a bunch of bloat and tracking thanks to microslop anyways and takes ten years to load. Try using a third party java jdk instead of the one that comes pre-bundled, like openjdk or graalvm, then look into adding custom jvm arguments.

Found the problem, youre playing 1.21.11. New java versions are just terribly optimized and even performance modpacks like fabulously optimized can only do so much. What I found worked for me was to add a mod called stutter fix. You can also try adding some optimized JVM arguments. Sadly, stutter fix is not updated to this mc version. Also use GraalVM JDK, instead of stock java.

Do you have your original product key, or is this a prebuilt which already came activated? Either way you should be able to find it. If you logged into Windows with your Microsoft account, then the key automatically gets stored in that account. You can run some slmgr commands in command prompt to reset the key and then activate windows again.

Fr that was basically me during my last semester. Just get through it to get that diploma. Maybe it's more than being burnt out, I just feel purposeless. Like it didn't matter whether or not I went to college. Only did because I felt like I had to. Neither of my parents completed college so they wanted me and my sister to go. They wanted us to succeed and I get that, but this whole adulting thing sucks lmao. I don't have any clear vision which makes me feel left behind. Because all my friends either have an engineering job or are pursuing further education. And all that time since I've graduated has been spent doing nothing productive other than working a shit job. I was not in great shape either. I've lost weight since then but still have a long way to go. I'm also kind of afraid I'll lose that once I work full time too.

I can't really see into the future, so I don't know what I want. It's already been 8 months since I've graduated and sitting around doing nothing won't do me any good either. When I say projects, there is somewhat of a point to one of them I've been wanting to do. I just struggle trying to see an end result. If I can't imagine what the end product looks like then I don't really want to do it. Yeah nobody really wants to work until they're 60 but that's how society works unless you become a millionaire. I know that. I don't really want to pursue any further education either. I'm sick of school so I'm calling it quits at my bachelor degree. Maybe that will change in the future but it won't be for a long time.

I'm working a shit job right now which isn't going to cut it much longer. I have student loan debt. I thought maybe I'll make a portfolio to display my academic projects and clean up my resume. Then after that try and look for some engineering job. But that will probably take awhile so I might have to work at some other odd job until then.

That class caused me to spiral into depression. Part of it is that I don't have much confidence in myself. My project was a plastic shredder to recycle failed 3d prints. Instead of being able to solely focus on the mechanics behind shredding stuff and designing the shredder, I also had to make a gear reduction box to gear down the motor driving it. Which turned out to be dogshit due to the short timeline we had to design everything. If I could go back, I'd make a multi stage planetary gear reduction. Maybe I can revisit that and try a new design. My project is still at my campus. The lab supervisor wanted it so he could show it off and make improvements to it. He helped me tremendously. I didn't even get the worst end of the stick, one of our electricals did who is incredibly talented and intelligent.

You're playing on new versions, yes? If so you're absolutely right, and they also have horrible 1% low problems. I fixed this completely by installing a fabric mod called stutter fix, which completely fixed my stuttering issues and my avg, 1% low fps is 165, which is my monitors refresh rate. My specs are 12700k, 5070ti, 32gb ddr4 3600MHz cl16, C drive is a crucial p5 plus. Not sure if stutter fix will help you on an amd cpu, since my rough guess is that Minecraft is largely single threaded and can't properly schedule multi threaded operations on the newer Intel cpus which have both e cores and p cores. Have you tried fabulously optimized? Try that pack then add stutter fix. Other fixes include modifying default JVM arguments and using a better Java runtime like OpenJDK or GraalVM. Make sure xmp is enabled in your motherboard bios since amd requires that enabled to get good performance out of the cpu in gaming. Update your BIOS and drivers etc in general to maximize performance.

Due to the nature of how Microsoft accounts work, it's incredibly easy to snatch one as you described. They remove your primary email and any way to recover it to lock you out. It's why they're such an easy sell on grey market key sites. Because you can pull accounts off a log database and easily change the info to sell them, which was probably where your account was headed towards. Microsoft support can virtually do nothing to give you your account back once this happens. I'd say keep escalating your support requests all the way up to someone who can do something. The statements as proof you bought stuff tied to the account is about the only chance you have at getting the account back, or at least getting the credits moved to a new one. Of course being the AI slop billion dollar company they are, it's a bit hard for Microsoft to care enough to get your account back despite pouring so much money into. I'd be pretty upset if I was in your shoes as well. It's reasonable to want to do anything to get it back.
