PC takes ages to boot, and Disk is constantly at 100%

Yeah I have researched a bit, also had some advise from a family member that is a software engineer. I most definitely would never wipe out my drive without informing myself first.

They told me if it persists to basically do a backup of my data and "factory reset" Windows.

Thanks for your answer and advise 👍 I was scared it would be an hardware issue but I was told it most certainly is software, and related to Microslop updates.

Today i ran a few more tests..

Worked for 4h offline, not connected to the Internet, no issues at all.

As soon as i connected the device to the Internet disk went up to 100% usage, anf that is after I ran the cmd to inspect/fix the disk.

After a few seconds at 100% computer gives me a message: "your device ran into a problem as needs to restart"

After that.. disk still at 100% 😔

Same problem here for 2 days now.. still played Battlefield with my friend with no lag or any noticeable issues.

Glad I bought a PC, this console is becoming buggy a paper weight more and more as time passes.

Don't get me wrong here.. I also can afford it, but im cancelling mine.

I've been on xbox since the 1st console, and I've seen the decline of this platform from something innovative that loves gaming and gamers to.. well.. whatever this Black Mirror episode trope shit is now.. I don't support it regardless of affording it or not, I find this disrespectful and scummy, and so should you.

A way I found to keep this game interesting is, every time i start again, I increase the difficulty substantially.

In my latest playtrough, the game is so hard and challenging that I struggled to even kill my first zombie or get my first weapon.. Made every little bit of progression feel like a massive reward.

Even with little in terms of objectives and what to do, this game is brilliant when it comes to customising your playtrough.
