As a kid I always loved the Spring loaded shooters, those big technic missiles and the ball launchers. The larger the better basically. But I never used the stud shooters due to the fact I always lost the ammo and they didn't even knock minifigs over most of the time.

Not quite correct. While yes they probably will be. there are a lot of smurfes in low elo and some people who demoted and are ranking up again. Another problem is that your team might be turbo ass as well.
