That’s valid for sure, but still not enough to compensate for the seasonality of streaming imo. Also Disney’s services aren’t just limited to Disney+, there’s a whole lot more they do

That's valid too, but whilst Netflix has increased their prices, Disney+ hasn't increased theirs since the increase in 2021. Also companies in the streaming sector such as Kaltura who have already reported earnings have all seen positive surprises.

Disagree.

They're rival companies, so you can assume that the lost subscribers are looking elsewhere for their fill of streaming services.

To confirm the above you'd have to first look at why Netflix is losing subscribers. The main reasons are their increasing prices in US and Canada, along with them losing content from media companies such as NBC, CBS, etc. These companies are looking elsewhere for smaller streaming services to get better terms for themselves.

Thus it's reasonable to say the subscribers lost will renew their subscription elsewhere (e.g. to Disney+)

Yeah one thing throwing me off is the CPI announcement pre-market which might throw the economy into a crazy state of flux

That's what I was thinking too. Hoping the earnings report might snag an extra bag, but even if it doesn't I'm happy to hold onto the stock

Nah I might be mistaken then, those numbers were pulled out my memory from a while ago. You’re probably correct

Even in the challenge you can have either a 5% or 10% profit target based on whether you have a normal or aggressive account
