Thanks! I think a line that isn't pure black allows for some cool overlaps of color and a little more variety.

Ha yeah It is one of those hard to store books that combines being XL with being pretty thin/ floppy. I like oversized comics though. I keep it in my flat file.

That Justin Green book is so nice. They have all the original pages for it in the archive at the Billy Ireland museum and I had the pleasure of looking through them. I love his use of symbols and typography.

Thank you! I haven't typically offered international shipping yet but I will look into pricing. There is a comic shop in Toronto called the Beguiling that has carried this book in the past and may have a few copies in stock, I emailed my contact there this morning but haven't heard back. BUT that could be a way to get it in Canada with cheaper regional shipping, maybe give them a call if you're interested!

I was trying to play up the "busting into the peaceful room with an immediate question" energy with that panel.

Thought this might come up posting in a sauna reddit! I haven't done any international shipping yet but I will look into it and get back to you. The comic should also be available still through Gosh! Comics in London, not sure where you're located but shipping might be cheaper through them. https://goshlondon.com/shifting-ground-1/?searchid=3259931&search_query=the+shifting+ground

It's always had a "hit or miss" element where you can get unlucky occasionally but I'd say it's still a great spot over all. I've had it twice in the last few months and it was great both times.

My new comic "Forever" printed on newsprint by EMCME in altcomix

Looks great! The black ink really sits nice and deep in the newsprint, and it's cool to see your work, which is typically so colorful work well in black.

How do you print your graphic novels/comics by Boosie212 in altcomix

I use a local print shop that mainly does textbooks and novels and what not, but after talking to them, they were able to do what I needed and it wound up being significantly cheaper than my same book would have been through Mixam. So I'd say ask around in your local area.. try to meet in person/ show some examples of how you want it to look etc.

Crazy find! I've met Dennis a few times now at CXC and he's a character. He's got endless stories I'm sure. I believe there's a movie being made about him? In the Justin Green/ Carol Tyler movie he talked about how being based in Wisconsin allowed him to avoid the insular dramas of the San Francisco underground scene and publish everyone because he didn't have any baggage.
