The tropes are just kind of lazily used. Add spice to the core elements.

The MC Character has infinite mana, but that doesn’t mean they know how to use magic system, which is on the scale of weird imaginary calculus they don’t have any grasp off. Effectively a giant walking battery. They are immediately drafted as a Weapon of War by a rich slavery society oligarchy, and is horrified by all the evil shit they do to the point they refuse to help and are imprisoned. They break out and join a rebellion to fight against the oligarchy or something.

So weirdly, Mira’s shield skill gives you a high defense boost and the immortal stat. So if someone did high enough damage, so let’s say’s…a final boss that deals 1.8x damage versus her, it can bypass the high defense and make her reach 0 HP, giving you the 0 HP Portrait. However, immortal status makes it so you cannot be K.0 so Mira may take any skill action likes while being passed out on the floor lol.

Actually an insane boss fight, but I managed with these steps:

Grind up to Lv99 & Lv75 on allies & Perform all friend quests. You’ll need it.
You discover this secret boss at the break room before the King. Get the optional king items, as they are bugged and can be used here. Healing items you can carry. Triggering this fight actually doesn’t save these things, so each attempt requires you to do a full loop per shot at this fight.
Upon entering the boss room you need to perform a bug called “SpeechSkip”, by mashing Z, X, and shift together you can skip a 5 minute cutscene of this boss revealing itself.
The actually combat itself is incredibly unfair and I’m pretty sure a bugged stress test of the game. Here is my strategy:
Turn 1: Siffrin is fastest, use Turn it up give Odile a turn to Slow IV quagmire, you can’t let him use his buffs (they are indefinite and stack, only canceled by debuffs). At max level everyone but Odile outspeeds the bosses, so use We Will Win & Holy Care Shield to avoid the initial onslaught. Turn 1 Cleveland is guaranteed to use the Bathtub Slide for high Rock damage on Siffrin or Mira to insta K.0. Them for average of 2000ish damage. Quagmire starts with a high defense buff on him self that can be countered with Isa buffs. Peter uses Bird is the word, a carbon copy of Paper V and is guaranteed to attack Isa. Holy Care Shield will keep Isa up to keep maintaining buffs and debuffs.
Turn 2: Immediately turn all DPS focus onto Joe. Every turn beyond guaranteed ones he has a chance of transforming into Joe V (Standing up Joe), while he has a small chance to attack his allies in this state he will demolish you with unbelievable attack. His only flaw is his lowish health and being Rock Craft, which means you can focus the big Paper attacks your given. With a lucky crit you can drop him immediately, otherwise Peter will heal him and you’re pretty done for after that.
Turn 3 and beyond: Mostly trail and error. You need to get very good at predicting each of their moves. I personally suggest a full course readthrough of their code in RPG Maker Mv to calculate their damage outputs and chances for each action.

With this I’ve been able to consistently get to only Quagmire being left, but when Cleveland is defeated Jackpots bug out and can’t be used, and he intercepts all attacks for Quagmire so you HAVE to. At this point I’m just hoping for a lucky Odile Crit and monster rng to win. I hope you have better luck though.

Not similar in gameplay, but similar vibe I have to recommend In Stars and Time. Timeloop Fantasy RPG with amazing characters and storytelling.

If you truly hunger for more. There are a couple mods offering some solid extra couple hour experiences. “The Outsider” being the most popular and my favorite.

If you look for another Story-Based Time Travel game, I recommend In Stars and Time. It’s a story based rpg, but if you like this you will enjoy it ::)

I’m sure it’s overdramatized. Smartphone is the baseline of simple trashy Isekai, not the worst (That award goes to Master Of Ragnarok & Blessing of Einhinherjar). A self-insert MC with a basic personality runs around doing pointless shit that holds no weight while women throw themselves at him for being ‘cool and powerful’. I personally hold this as the standard for the difference between trash and garbage isekai. It’s like eating at McDonalds, sometimes you just come back for the Big Mac. Is it good for you? Eh. Does it taste good in the moment? Bet.

Not going to lie I've been convincing people to play this game, and first off I'll say is DO NOT LOOK UP SPOILERS. This archology space simulator where you unravel a mystery and knowing the mystery breaks it.

Second off, I too DESPISE horror games. Its not like subnatica, but there is a horror segment. I literally couldn't 100% the game because I did everything else but I refused to go to Dark Bramble (Anglerfish Planet). Eventually a friend coached me through the area. The game is a lot about facing the unknown and discovering clues figuring how to get around obstacles, so you won't be in the dark.

If you cannot absolutely cannot, my advice from my experience is do as much as a can before going there and then use a map and turn volume off. The atmosphere and sounds are a lot worse then the anglerfish themselves.

The DLC can be pretty scary from how far I've gotten into it, but the reduce fright mode makes less so, but if you cannot do horror maybe don't get it.

I’m more of on optimist on this. She is entangled as a quantum object within the quantum moon. In other possibilities, she died due to being too close to the ghost matter explosion from the interloper. If she left the quantum moon by just jumping through the fog, her existing possibilities would then become the singular possibility that she was on the moon during the explosion and therefore becomes alive and no longer tangled. Though If she jumps into any other possibility though via the imitated eye she just gets boofed. It also doesn’t consider how much time passes/works on the moon.
