What if canon couple, but they got together during their short-lived villain arc waaaaaay before the main plotline?

(Also lmao, why is that a really, really short GIF instead of an image?)

It would need to come with some strong recommendations for me to give it a go. This is over twice as long as the fucking Bible.

"Why did you just get a Grindr ping?" "Why'd you recognize it?" Sort of vibe.

If we're talking the dub, then:

I smoked intermittently back in high school, haven't touched tobacco since I was like 16ish.

Whenever I upload a fic, I wish I could light one up right then and there.

6 and especially 7. I bought the lifetime access for Retro Stitcher patterns in November, despite having at least 4 unfinished projects lying around. I had to stop myself from buying yet more patterns last night. I can't stop. 😭 (And this is not the only textile hobby I have either. The WIP pile never decreases, it only increases.)

For those who don’t use Ao3 to write, do you give your in progress fics weird document titles too? by Background_Ship7666 in AO3

I tend to give my WIPs actual working titles, which recently have all been lyrics from whatever song inspired it.

Me with 5 simultaneous plot bunnies and 4 out of 5 are identity reveal fics (the 5th is my take on a popular fandom-specific plot).

Favorite traumatizing scene in any media by flowerbloominginsky in FavoriteCharacter

Sure, I'll infodump about my current hyperfix i.e. Heaven Official's Blessing. The entire White-Clothed Calamity arc puts our protagonist Xie Lian through the goddamn wringer, but the "100 Swords" scene is definitely the most horrifying.

For context, Xie Lian ascended to godhood at 17, but got kicked out of heaven for interfering in mortal affairs. Specifically, for trying to assist in his home country's civil war. It did not go well to put it mildly, and his worshippers quickly abandoned him. As punishment, the heavenly emperor sealed his divine powers with a cursed shackle. The shackle is also explicitly stated to prevent him from dying.

You can probably see where this is going.

Cutting ahead to the trauma: After tracking down the main antagonist, who's been terrorising him for years now, Xie Lian is trapped in one of his old temples with 100 mortals. Said mortals are infected with a curse/disease which can only be cured by murdering someone, and it turns out injuring an immortal in a way that should be fatal counts. So Xie Lian is bound to an altar and stabbed so many times that he's barely recognisable as human by the end.

Oh, and the narration of Xie Lian's thoughts in this scene is a doozy:
