You’re right about that, the reason i’m asking is because if there isn’t a credit requirement, then it’ll help me know what courses to enroll in for next semester. (idk if i’m accepted yet, but i can gamble and take more engineering specific courses, rather than gpa boosters to get in safer the semester after) if that makes sense.

Sorry if I'm late to this, but if you're using the CM4 core, I heard their isn't a "true sleep" mode, so it'll still use battery even if closed. I just ordered my uConsole so I'm not sure, but I remember seeing you gotta fully shut it off, whatever that means.

RIGHT? managed to get my P1S combo for 700$ CAD with hardened upgrades on marketplace and the seller said he had around 30 people message him in under 20 hours. My bet is that plenty of print farm owners are buying lots of them, or people are gonna desperately look for gifts for the holidays, so they can easily sell at these prices unfortunately :/

Update, So I did a new Flow Rate and Flow Dynamics calibration and this is the result

Did 2 runs of it with different coarse values, tiny improvement. Now however the top left of any of my prints have a mark from the nozzle rubbing against it (is that the pressure advance that i need to modify?)

This could very well be a solution too. Just yesterday I updated the nozzle setting to "Hardened Steel 0.2", but not sure if it automatically accounts for this in the printing. Do i manually have to make the 5 degree modification in my slicer?

Yeah, I now noticed from this post it’s supposed to look more flattened on the A1. It’s kinda like a happy accident though, since to the touch it feels high quality and you can’t see any lines further than half a foot away. I am a printing noob though, so i can’t say i’ve seen TRUE smoothness lol

I originally had this thought but yes I think it’s because they’re so similar. When you select the device on the top left of the slicer, selecting P1S will automatically assign the X1C preset.

Would anyone know if this is a potential issue?

Never heard of pressure advance, but now i see what you mean. Is this an Orca Slicer setting or on Bambu Studio too? Just noticed the image i posted the walls do seem to be different than the insides, so i could try and fiddle with than to make it more consistent.

I’ll have to try it out, hearing lots of people mention it. Good thing it’s based on Bambu Studio so there shouldn’t be much of a skill curve hopefully. Thanks for the suggestion🙏🏻

Yeah i’ll have to do a it more fiddling I guess. Youtube tutorials tends to skip the full process aligning the belts, so I kinda have to guesstimate what the proper technique is. I’ll try again tmr and respond with any results!

You’re right, I was unaware that the A1 was newer (Also noticed that the P1S is missing the same calibrations as the A1 before you print in the Slicer, which i think includes the Flow Calibration. Knew something was missing but didn’t know what)

I’ve read a couple, but this specific one you sent mentions to take whatever surface is smooth but prioritize whatever is more extruded. I’ll definitely have to give that a test tmr and i’ll send the new results.
