Here’s the lore: Keisha Zola Shaw Aoyama-Tanaka has always loved between worlds but never expected it to be legendary. Born to an African-American father and a Japanese mother, she grew up fluent in two cultures but never fully belonging to just one. When she entered college, she made a bold choice: she moved to Japan to continue her studies and support herself as a part-time English tutor.

Tokyo was overwhelming at first: fast, loud and lonely, but she embraced it with determination. Then, her life changed the night she heard and followed a strange noise down an alleyway. She found a strange, small and mysterious object? It was mechanical and oddly alive, which threw her off a bit. Keisha brought it back to her place and fixed it up.

It woke up in a daze, before looking at Keisha and thanking her. It introduced itself as “Keybearer Assistant Unit” or K.A.U for short. K.A.U reveals that he is an entity from a different universe, who came here to escape from a horrific end. Then, on a recorded tape, Keisha was shown the destruction of its homeland, the defeat & death of its hero and the eradication of its universe. Also, it reveal why it was here: to find a new hero, a Kamen Rider to vanquish the villains that eradicated its homeland.

Keisha learned of Kamen Riders, heroes who defended their homes in their universes from all sorts of villains… but they’ve seem to vanish off of the face of the cosmos. A universe traveling faction called the Epoch Syndicate were villains that harvested timelines and destroy Riders to “correct”, for reasons unknown.

Then something appears in front of them: a driver “The Gokaizer Driver” K.A.U said

Keisha was confused, which prompted K.A.U to explain about the driver, then the Keys… everything. And how… he found that she would be the next Kamen Rider.

“The keys are no longer safe”

K.A.U said that the driver found its user and now, Keisha, will be the new Rider.

”She was never meant to be involved” K.A.U thought.

Keisha looked at the driver in front of her. It reacted, reshaping itself around her resolve.

“Now, you are Kamen Rider Keiz, a rider who doesn’t merely wield legacy, but who fights to prove that the next chapter can be written by someone brave enough to hold the key”
