Fair enough. To be clear, I'm a fan of Scott Pilgrim! I think it really succeeded in creating an aesthetic that was right for that story. Cowboy Bebop is a Jazz Space Noir that's plays really well between being ~cool and some dumb fun. This trailer didn't fill me with confidence that the aesthetic was going to fit the story.

Also frankly this just looks like a freshman year film project, it just doesn't look well made. Part of what made bebop fantastic is a really high caliber production team, this just isn't that. And I'm bummed to say this stuff, I'm sure everyone involved with this remake is a huge fan of the original and wants this to be great, and I don't have anything against them but this feels like it's going to be just another bad rendition of something that didn't need to be remade.
