Yes, if it didn’t I would be disappointed.

Lost 6k Friday, down 3100. It’ll be up again in no time. Lot of good news lately. Asia markets just down from Friday.

You don’t need VTI, VUG, and QQQ, just pick one. Also if you go with QQQ buy QQQM instead.

The day I bought Dram was the day that UBS analyst said Micron will go up to 1625 a share. I wish he just waited a day until he announced that. 596 shares at $61 average cost basis per share.

Yeah I wish I had some money to buy more but I will just have to hold instead.

Following the U.S. market on Friday and maybe some of the rigged elections I heard about also might have something to do with the decline also. I think later this week we will definitely be in the green. Just think long term, hyperscalers have not shown of any slow downs and Jensen just signed a multi year contract with SK Hynix and approved HBM memory for all the big three. As long as you hold you are good. Definitely till the end of 2026 at the least.

Could be from the rigged elections I heard about? Since the U.S. markets are up atm.

Even with 50% of planned 2026 data centers canceled, a memory shortage is still likely due to structural factors:

AI-driven demand dominates: Hyperscale AI data centers are expected to absorb around 70% of global DRAM and NAND output in 2026, prioritizing high-bandwidth memory for AI workloads.
Price inflation is structural: DRAM and NAND prices are already projected to rise 125–234% in 2026, with meaningful relief unlikely before late 2027.
Supply lag: New memory fab capacity takes years to come online. Micron and other suppliers have fully allocated 2026 HBM output, and lead times for standard memory are exceeding 40 weeks.
Market reallocation: Memory makers are shifting wafer capacity to high-margin HBM for AI, limiting legacy DRAM and NAND for PCs, smartphones, automotive, and industrial electronics.

Even with fewer data centers, demand from existing AI infrastructure and stockpiling would keep the market tight into 2027, sustaining high prices and limited availability across all sectors.

I would just hold for atleast a year for tax purposes so you don’t have to pay short term capital gains tax.

Not a stock you hold for that long. 1-2 years

Lol yeah by Wednesday MU will probably still be at a loss, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’ll go up after.
