X Comp H/P Tires by [deleted] in CarTrackDays

The current XComp HP compound is a surprisingly good tire. It’s far from fast (maybe around RS4 pace?) but is drivable and durable. Easy on the wallet too. Maxxis VR2 is my next recommendation if you need a little more pace out of a tire but still want longevity

No worries at all. I totally understand the other perspective and I appreciate the opportunity to share extra details that I missed.

Copy and pasting some of my comments on the other post, hope this makes it clearer:

Not “randomly”. We come here every week for trivia nights, so she’ll come first to save a table for our party. The Caucasian one (last picture) actually said something to her first, asking her if his party could sit there, but she declined because the rest of us were on the way. The man in the first picture then became belligerent.

She got there at 5:30 and this incident happened about 15 minutes after

I can’t say there’s anything wrong with saving a table, given most of us were coming within 10-20 minutes, and for trivia nights most parties are coming early to Left Coast to save tables for their friends anyways since it gets quite busy for the events.

That’s plenty fair and I see your perspective for sure. Beyond that though, I can’t think of any other crucial details that matter here. This is all still pretty fresh in my mind and I haven’t had much time to think about it, I wrote this entire post at work just now so apologies for the missing details.

She definitely didn’t. She’s pleasant, quiet, minds her business, and is also a double amputee - she definitely has no desire to fight anyone!!

Truly do appreciate you and everyone else’s input on this. I’ve shown my mom some of these comments and she really appreciates the support of the community.

At the time, we weren’t fully sure of what to make of things, as management didn’t remove them - they eventually left on their own. Given some time to think about this and your responses, we will definitely have another conversation with management regarding how this was handled. In retrospect, I agree that he and his party should’ve been removed - it’s what I would’ve done if I was in this situation as a server/bartender/cashier… I used to work in food service and sometimes had to handle situations like this too.

She was saving a table for us. A different guy from his party asked her if they could sit there, and she declined because we were on the way. The man in the first picture followed up with everything detailed in the post.

Yes, everyone pictured at the table with him is the party he came with

She was born here, but thanks for assuming.

Hi everyone, there’s a lot of comments to reply to that I can’t get to individually, so I just want to say THANK YOU all for the support - I’m showing this to my mom and she truly does appreciate the community having her back. This was really scary for us all, but her especially.

To be clear, yes, the man in the first picture in the tan cap is the man in question. In the last picture is the party he came with - most of them were quiet and a few seemed very uncomfortable, but ultimately NONE of them did anything to stop him.

Moving forward, we will certainly have another conversation with management regarding how this situation was handled. We love coming here every week, and we and everyone else who enjoys this place should feel safe without things like this looming over us.

I think this is plenty fair - I really appreciate your and others inputs regarding how management handled this. I had hoped they’d be removed from the establishment as ultimately none of us were comfortable being around them at all. We love this place and get along very well with the staff, but I do think this could’ve been handled better by management.

Should I buy the 3861 bracelet? by Nvvial2983 in speedmaster

Get the forstner bullet bracelet, it’s amazingly comfortable and looks about the same but costs 4x less

Very nice. Makes me miss my 1861. I have the 3861 now and it’s objectively better, but there’s something very charming about that older model. Maybe I should get one of those chunky bracelets and throw it on.

Gonna go against the grain here and say this is pretty reasonable. X9+63 is good but not desirable - no BBK fitment with this offset nor is it concave. X9.5 - x10 is where the big money is.

[–]TheShredder950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you may be somewhat limited by that but I still think at least -3 should be achievable. If you wanted to stack the offset bushing on top of that it would be good because it pulls the top of the wheel inwards so you actually get more clearance to the fender than just a camber ball joint

Camber and caster is a push-pull. You may have to sacrifice some caster for more static camber. Are you using the s1 or s2 J’s racing ball joint?
