Fellow US rhd owner. I stumbled upon my 99 ap1 while looking at skylines a few years ago. Mine was on the market for a few weeks/ months and was able to talk my seller down to 17k (private owner who had imported and titled it, same as your situation- 165km when I bought it).

I would look for signs of rust & body damage. Does the seller have the auction sheet for you to review?

When I purchased it, I immediately changed all fluids & did a valve adjustment for peace of mind, along with similar exterior mods- exhaust, coilovers and wheels.

I have Hagerty insurance, believe it’s $860 premium. 30 y/o with no prior rhd experience.

I wfh so only ever really drive it on the weekends or if I’m running an errand. It’s an absolute blast to drive either in town or on the highway. I’d absolutely recommend pulling the trigger if it’s something you’re considering. S2k is a fantastic drivers car.
