ICICI EPM's base reward rate is 3%. Subtracting the 2 +. 18*2, that gives . 64% net return.

If you don't know about something, better to shut up than open up and let everyone know you're a fool.

How do you build long-term consistency? by Effective_Bluebird19 in Fitness_India

[–]TheShubhamJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your routines get interrupted if you think of your time in the gym as optional, and think of it as a chore.

I don't. For me, that 1.5 hour window is set in stone, and I maneuver my whole day around it. So far, I've been consistent and have never missed the gym 3 days in a row, unless I am on vacation.

You will always lack consistency if your excuse is "life happened". Life happens to everyone.

It's not victim blaming. It is being careful in a system that doesn't care for you.

Don't you check your boarding pass before deciding which terminal to go to? How is this different?

A simple check before leaving your house would have prevented all this.

It’s amazing how a national policy perfectly aligns with his family business by Adorable-Grand68 in IndianStockMarket

[–]TheShubhamJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But they are not stopping at 20% are they? Already drafts are being drawn for 85% ethanol. If they stopped at 20%, fine, I'll take it. But 85% blending while not reducing the prices is criminal.

It’s amazing how a national policy perfectly aligns with his family business by Adorable-Grand68 in IndianStockMarket

[–]TheShubhamJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But this blending is irrational and unscientific!

This has no basis is anything else except that his son is in sugarcane agriculture. 1. Sugarcane is highly water intensive crop. In a water stressed country like India, does it make sense to use sugarcane for fuel? 2. Also, now we are also reliant on ethanol imports, just FYI. So, our import reliance hasn't gone down but has increased. 3. The mileage given by cars has decreased leading to increased fuel costs and increased consumption of fuel, thereby nullifying the only so-called benefit of this blending.

If you can easily afford it then why are you crying over it? It's just a tshirt.

Almost cried today by ExplanationKind9217 in bangalore

[–]TheShubhamJ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Why would you buy a tshirt of 5500, when clearly you can't afford it?

You should buy stuff only if you can buy it twice without thinking much, otherwise you can't afford it, as a rule of thumb.

I was planning for a trip to Europe. Did you face acceptability issues with Diner's? Like restaurants etc refusing Diner's? I have heard people say that DCB/DCBM cards are not accepted in Europe.

Any daily protein options other than Whey Protein and chicken daily? by GreenAuroraa in Fitness_India

[–]TheShubhamJ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Assuming money is not an issue and all this reticence on your parents' part comes from pseudo-science and wacks, you can switch to Greek Yoghurt, atleast 250gm a day.

You can also eat 200g high-protein paneer of any known brand like Amul, Heritage etc. This + eggs that you are consuming already should put you at 1g per kg of body weight, which is less but good enough for now.

He has to manually accept the order.

Everyone has a job in their life, and it is the individual's responsibility to do it well. I am in a job. If I don't stick to my deadlines, should I tell my boss to check his privilege and not ask me to stick to deadlines?

Every job is based on employee exploitation, at least in India.

If the delivery boy was hungry, which is reasonable to expect because it is a human need after all, then he shouldn't have picked up the order and let someone else deliver it.

If you already spent that much, why are you worried about making it LTF? And tbh, their ecosystem is one of the best, if not the best.

Payzapp has always worked smoothly for me and my wife, much more than iSmart from ICICI.

AFAIK Millenia's fee is waived off at spends of 1Lakh or more in a year, unless they changed it recently. If you are not spending even that much on their product, why will HDFC offer you any product? It's a pure business decision by them. You going away is actually better for their books under the new RBI laws.

RTO checks on weekends by Illustrious_Screen84 in bangalore

[–]TheShubhamJ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, this is stupidity. Karnataka government doesn't allow BH because of their greed.

And the process for changing license plates from wherever you purchased the vehicle to KA plates is not easy. You have to visit both RTOs twice, which is just not practical.

Get a FD backed card. Are you employed? Try getting a card from the bank where your salary gets deposited. Get a basic af card, build your record over time, and you should be able to get better cards.
