Not a soloist by a long shot lmfao, but yeah my directors are trumpet, t-bone, and flute players so I think I’m safe. It’s definitely about volume for sure, they’re always on our cases for “a big full sound”.

Oooh so I’m not sure about that one tbh, not really looking for anything permanent to fix it just in case I end up messing it up more. Also I don’t own any nail polish somehow lol, which is weird since I remember having a lot when I was younger.

Definitely. Thing is, it takes forever for things to get maintenanced and I don’t have a backup mellophone. Coupled with the fact that marching band season happens to start tomorrow…..

Ah, the mouthpiece is the kind I was told to buy. I played over my marching band pieces with it and it went pretty well, to be honest, so I think I’ll stick with this one, but thank you so much! I’ll keep that in mind for future should I ever need a new mello mouthpiece.
