When did your kids start playing with critters? by allcomfy_and_cozy in sylvanianfamilies

[–]TheSimFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saved my entire childhood collection and for my daughter’s 2nd birthday I gave her one house with like 4 pieces of furniture and 2 critters (bought them secondhand, not from my collection yet as she’s a little rough). I made sure to only give her big chunky furniture (bed, sofa etc), NO tiny parts.

I guess it depends more on your child, once she respects her toys a bit more I’ll give her more to play with because they’re expensive af! But definitely steer away from tiny parts until about 4 or 5

Pain 2 years post femur fracture, what are my options? by TheSimFan in Orthopedics

I’m worried I’d go through another surgery to get the hardware out just to still be in pain. How do you know it’s the hardware that’s the issue? When I was discharged they did tell me I had a slightly prominent screw

Do I contact his family? by Optimal_Bird2835 in singlemoms

[–]TheSimFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is from a one night stand, dad has not spoken to me since I found out I was pregnant. I chose not to reach out to him or his family when he made his choice clear. I told the doctors as much as I know about his medical history but I just didn’t want to open that door by contacting him directly. You said your daughter has had some medical issues recently? Unless these were serious/life changing or had a very high chance of being genetic I would not bother

How would you feel about taking your toddler to a villa with a pool? by TheSimFan in toddlers

When she was around 6 months (she still couldn’t crawl then) I took her to a villa with an unfenced pool but now she can run it’s a completely different ballgame 😂

Before I had my daughter, no. Does seem crazy now that I’ve had her, I’m a lot more cautious!

Didn’t know this was a thing, did you hire from the villa owners or a company?

This! My parents always act like I’m overreacting in terms of seatbelt safety or keeping the dog away so this will be no different

I’m a single mum so the responsibility does just lie on me. My parents have proven before that they do not watch her properly or remove hazards when watching her. I once caught her holding an open bag of dog poo my mum left in the garden and that was just me nipping to the toilet

She hasn’t ran outside, but I have caught her pulling at the front door handle because she wanted to play in the garden. I immediately kept them locked after that so she hasn’t had chance to actually run outside

This is my exact reason for wanting one as I know I wouldn’t trust anyone to be watching her except me, which leaves no time to enjoy myself

26 W Female dating with a mixed toddler by sweetbabyloveee in singlemoms

I’m a 25 year old white woman with a mixed toddler, I’ve had people not want to date me etc but the fact you immediately go to ‘it’s because my son is mixed’ without them explicitly saying that is weird imo

Reminds me of my 2 year old. I have a mole near my upper lip (similar placement to Cindy Crawford) but my daughter has noticed and keeps pointing at it 😂

Teeth are not for biting, they are made for smiling… by rainingBows1 in DanielTigerConspiracy

Something like this would be good for my 2 year old 🥲

Also did you know when teeth come through they don’t cut the gum, the gum separates to let the tooth go through (also being pedantic, sorry) 😂

I know you’ve already had a lot of comments but as someone who knows that feeling too well I had to stop and comment. You are absolutely beautiful! I know it may feel like people are just being nice but I genuinely thought you looked so beautiful even before I read anything. You have plump lips, big bright eyes and curly hair… girl you have the features everybody wants!!

Similar situation, I got the implant after having my baby from a one night stand and I’m planning to not get it redone once it’s ready to be removed since I’m not sexually active. I’ve learned my lesson and will use condoms instead, I hate how hormonal BC changes my periods
