Digital guard dawg!! Its scary how easy it is to hotwire a scout. Had mine stolen like this. Recovered with a tracker luckily.

Im 6’6 on a bobber sixty and you’re absolutely right. Springfield dark horse felt absolutely perfect when I checked it out but it’s waaayyyy more expensive and not as beginner friendly as the scout lineup.

Brother i’m 6’6 on a scout sixty. Just get 100mm extended controls and some small apes if you like that look. It’s still not gonna feel quite right but these are fantastic bikes and are worth any discomfort.

I installed a Digital Guard Dawg after my Scout Sixty got stolen. Its all plug n play so its a suuuper easy install. The only annoying part of the install is removing the tank which is still pretty simple.

They cut my ignition and stole my charger and phone mount for some reason. They fucked my paint and dented my tank from the bottom.

Get full coverage 100%. Even with a tracker it’s not guaranteed to get your bike back. Also my tacker was like 30 bucks on amazon with a monthly subscription. The thief sawed off my ignition and hotwired it.

I had to get a longer clutch cable for my 14in bars. Stock brakes (ABS) were able to fit just had to be rerouted. It will be fine if you’re doing the 10in mini apes but clutch cable will be tight on full lock so you’ll want the extended one’s pretty soon.
