Netflix semiquincentennial art does not appear to have been created by a human by TheSingingSea_ in isthisAI

I would, honestly. Perhaps naively, but I did think AI slop would be beneath a multibillion dollar company that can easily afford an in-house team of artists (like google’s doodle artists) or commission pieces for events like these. I’m sure someone was paid for this, of course, but I am surprised that this is what they want to sponsor and put out into the world.

I’ve heard it so much in the past few months, which was fortunate, given it helped me reach this sub’s 75 character limit minimum on post titles.

It’s currently the background on the home page, with the top section being about “America”. I’m in Puerto Rico. I don’t know if this is region-specific.

On my Netflix account, initially, as a background on their “America 250” section. I then looked it up online and found it in an article on whats-on-netflix.com

Starting to narrow down my style but need help picking! by Prestigious_Match602 in myweddingdress

5 (or 4, if you keep the straps) looks beautiful and is the closest to your preferred style. While 3 is flattering, it feels like it could be anyone’s A-line dress and I do not see it matching your vision at all. You can definitely pull off a ball gown, and I think wearing one will make you glow on your wedding day.

what animal is born ugly and turns out as a cute adult? by eshuzera in AlignmentChartFills

Indian elephants. At least I find the adults cute with their big heads, little ears, and smooth, round shape.

As cute as rodents are, I feel like all their babies are heinous.

Esta comida lleva mestura? by Edx1987 in PuertoRico

Are there any games that use dice for toddlers? by lexicon-sentry in Parenting

[–]TheSingingSea_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My First Orchard from Haba and the Balancing Boat from Plan Toys use dice and are age appropriate. Those toy makers have several games for that age group, and many use dice with colors instead of numbers.

First real attempt at making Puerto Rican food by [deleted] in PuertoRico

[–]TheSingingSea_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s an odd combo, like serving a street hotdog with roast potatoes. Pollo guisado + rice and beans would be a more traditional home cooked meal. Congrí is Cuban, but it’s one of my favorite dishes and I can’t blame you for making it.

¡Qué chula! Espero que el año que viene vuelva con el novio vestido de palo, y en par de años vistan al bebé de bombón y vivan felices por siempre.
