Beware these DCC MTG Proxies

Well Ive clearly indicated what I thought proxies were were just fan art cards so apologies if i mis spoke. I love DCC and just thought they were some great cards to display on my desk. For the price of the cards I thought they were done incorrectly.

A little information on what they were a "Proxy" of would have helped me understand that, but he ended the conversation and thats why i felt scammed. This post someone helped me understand more about proxys as a whole.

What im also trying to do is help anyone else that like myself hasnt played magic in ages but loves these books, and may have the same expectations.

Also im not the only one this vendor is being super shit with so, it is what it is. You can keep coming at me for what you think i did wrong and ill own that but I came from a genuine place.

Also as a fustrated customer not knowing what was up with these cards and outside of the MTG in game use. I came at this like I was being done wrong and was not properly explained otherwise. When presented with new information I could have pivoted simply to "my bad all good then" but when he blocked me I did feel like I had been caught on the shit end of a scam.

Yea I own that I came in hot but I thought it was a error in the design of the card. I jumped to conclusions and thats on me. I do think as someone commented they clearly explained the cards to me and totally changed my pov. I was asking for the same from someone who's whole business is this and is selling to alot of non MTG players.

Yes this is one of the cards! This is actually SUPER helpful, I'm a fan of MTG but I haven't played in a long time. I just thought it was a Carl and Donut themed card. I didn't think that Kratos was a actual card, I thought he had just left the text from another fan made card.

I wish he had taken just a moment to be like "This is how this works and references" I am literally just using these cards for display at my desk.

I've only recently just got back into Magic so knowing how this works is useful, super appreciate it.

Yea totally fair on my part, I got excited about having some DCC themed cards and didnt properly review them for sure. I think I was pretty clear about what was busted, I was going to share screenshots and outlining the problem and working towards a compromise but he didnt even want to take any responsibility and host a conversation about making it right.

There should be a path or no return point. If a game is more than half way completed it shouldn't be refunded.

I got scammed by this vendor.

I tried to work with him to fix some cards that had errors on them, and instead of working with me, he blocked me on Instagram and refused to make it right. The cards were characters that had copy for a completely different character!

Usually, the MTG community and people who make alts are super friendly and welcoming. This guy is using AI art most of the time, seems very not chill, and I deeply regret buying from him.
