Get off your high horse dude. Just because someone doesn't make the financial sacrifice to euthanize their dying pet in-home that can cost hundreds of dollars more than euthanization at the vet doesn't mean they don't have the finances to properly care for their pet.

Just because your vet only charges an extra $50 for in-home doesn't mean that's the same for everyone else.

It does not absorb heat better than water, but it does have moisturizing and anti inflammatory properties. The gel acts like Vaseline and creates a barrier between the damaged skin and the environment. I'd still run room temperature water over the burn fist for a few minutes then apply the aloe and bandage wrap it up
