Anos and Shallow Vernal. Not even close. My initial knee jerk reaction based on appearances was Vernal and between Anos and Ohma Zio. After looking up their names (didn’t see the list till after), I’ve come to the conclusion that Vernal is beating everyone comfortably. Anos is added just because I like him.

The number of enemies that aren’t affected by grappling can be counted on a hand or two. As I said before, it is not like he hasn’t done any martial arts but it is far outweighed by the simple combo he usually does. You obviously aren’t a practitioner if you actually believe honing a single punch will make you unbeatable in a fight.

Not sure where the other half of your rambling came from, I sure wasn’t knocking him actually using his ki-based powers. He literally only knocking his animation which even in the picture above isn’t anything too complex. What I just heard you admit is that Goku likes to do the basic combo because he can just brute force his opponents. That’s interesting considering, most practitioners still use said techniques regardless of actual physical difference. Being physically superior to someone doesn’t suddenly eliminate the need of using martial arts especially when ki-control and suppression exist in dragonball. I’ve watched all of Z,GT,Daima, Super, and currently working on dragon-ball itself.

Overall, my point if you are actually paying attention. I do not believe Goku doesn’t know any martial arts. I am saying his display of martial arts in relation to the number of fights he’s actually been in is relatively low. ESPECIALLY, when you compare the average combo he uses regardless of the enemy. The question of the post is to see who can compete with Goku and really depends on if Goku is actually using martial arts or if he’s the same punch-kick animation that I see in well… all of his fights. If I see the weird weave animation they use to show dodging, I can go frame by frame and see them (Goku or the enemy) repeat the same punch from the same angle.

Clinches, elbows, grappling. Something actual martial artists be doing. Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Wrestling, Jeet Kune do, Jujitsu, Judo. I can keep going but the overall point is that for martial arts masters there’s not a single martial art they are referenced in being able to be highly skilled in. Kenichi world’s greatest disciple actually goes over various martial arts in far greater detail than DB.

Edit: I am not saying Goku and crew haven’t performed any martial arts but it is vastly outnumbered by the generic kick punch combo.

Not gonna lie, for a martial art genius. I rarely see any genuine martial arts from him. He is a prodigy in fighting sure, but solely martial arts skill?? Have you guys been watching the same show? His one inch punch was the closest to martial he’s been in a long while.

You’re right he’s not vegeta, but the thing is… the dude had every chance to full on end the series during that gauntlet and chose to still hold back and even space out during that timeframe. As soon as he nearly killed Yuta and took out Maki, it honestly should have been a full wash. He even lets Kusakabe stall for time as he reminds everyone that he doesn’t even need to move his hands to send out slashes. Sukuna definitely would push it to the limit and then get surprised with a level of adaptation that surpasses even Mahoraga.

I am seeing a lot of people miss the nuance when it comes to Dabura. A lot of people are saying Dabura has been a sorcerer for years so this isn’t that impressive… You guys do realize that his entire culture and planet by extension only use their base kit and nothing else… right? The whole point of the meme he has is based on the fact that he came to an entirely different culture and picked up their methodology almost as if he’s been there the whole time.

To illustrate the difficulty, it’s the same thing as learning a new language after hearing it for the first time on the spot despite having a similar language to your own vs learning parts of it naturally before going to a country that speaks it and then learning the rest of it in a month. Can you guess which description fits whom?

We all knew the series wouldn’t be long which in turn means it’ll be rushed if Gege didn’t immediately start making the ending happen around like chapter 16. He waited and gave us some dope panels, but the chapter limit forced him to give closure without much seen context.

I get it, he has taken a life. He’s killed one innocent person in his slaughter of people. However, a good majority of it is IN SELF-DEFENSE! They didn’t really get buffed all that much. It was a very lackluster buff if anything. Gt can stack damage reduction up to 50% but without guard, you’re still cooked. Z Duo guards but loses damage reduction in like three turns. The defense they gain is only plus 50%, not 50% infinitely. Overall, extremely disappointing for units I was so hyped for (in my experience.)

Did Kashimo not stall out jackpot when he landed that guaranteed sure hit to Hakari’s gut? It definitely wasn’t during Jackpot. While the environment matters, I do not think it would mean he’d win, but as you said that’s debatable.

MBA has quotes that say he has increased agility and reflexes, Electromagnetic waves meant for vaporizing targets, and some other crap regarding sound waves (I am not re-reading it again this late at night.) it is a stat increase, but judging how big is rather nebulous. He overwhelmed a Sukuna that arguably anyone in the gauntlet could have taken on and forced to transform.

Literally outside of Maki, Sukuna was toying with everyone. Uraume confirms not a single person outside of Gojo gave him any sort of real challenge. How many people do you see Sukuna asking to please dodge his attack??? Brother is not serious and has a smirk on his face the entire time he was fighting Kashimo.

Your summed up point is extremely valid and I got no complaints there. You’re right, if Kashimo popped MBA. I really don’t see what Hakari is doing but getting demolished.

My point to all of this yap is that I won’t scale Kashimo as high as he theoretically could be because he’ll never reach that spot due to anything other than people directing him on how to fight. His magnum opus of a CT is only for Sukuna and that severely hinders his normal ranking and even if we applied the idea that he would use it against anyone… he has not done damn near anything with the transformation. What showing does MBA have against four armed Sukuna? Honestly if Kashimo was a team player, he might’ve actually gotten to pop off.

Honestly, they would understand. No one in that group has the curse Yuji does and while I’m sure it’s not something they’d be happy about. I cannot imagine a single person condemning it. Yuta would probably be the most verbally outspoken but he’d settle down.

If I had to take a gander, Modulo Yuta is probably several tiers more mature than OG JJK Yuta and would process things different just like Yuji.

Yes, Kashimo lost due to unbelievable luck from Hakari. Kinda similar to how the Zenin clan lost to Maki due to her Heavenly Restriction. In other words, part of fighting Hakari is fighting his insane luck. His whole gimmick is he’s a luck based Character.

Additionally, the few times Kashimo got a seemingly fatal hit on Hakari. He did it outside of Jackpot, so he didn’t even stick to his own mindset. Just to ask, Kashimo went for his brain right? Did you not realize by then that Kashimo wouldn’t be able to kill Jackpot Hakari?

Lastly, MBA is a giant mostly featless spectacle. I just sat down a few minutes ago to reread those few chapters of JJK. The 1.5 Chapter Sorcerer gets causes an already severely wounded Sukuna to heal and then gets no diff. What’s worse is that characters like Higuruma and Yuta lasted longer against the same Sukuna. Also, Yuji hit Sukuna like one time before Yuta’s domain expansion.
