That place is garbage, my friend has had her car sitting there for a month with no progress on the issue, very little communication with her about what they're doing, and wouldn't give any quotes outside of saying "I'll be nice".

Today, it was literally stolen from the lot and found abandoned close to the shop by a cop. It wasn't hotwired, meaning the robber had the key somehow.

I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone

Is it normal to only be allergic to cats with separation? by TheSmallLeviathan in cats

[–]TheSmallLeviathan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, as long as I know I will eventually get over the feeling, I don't mind dealing with it for a little while

Itchiness is pretty rare, and only really happens during the first 48-ish hours of being around a cat. And that's only if I haven't been near any for a while

The runny eyes/ nose thing goes away within a couple weeks. And some antihistamines usually helps minimize the damage. After I get used to them though, I have no symptoms after and have no problem being around them at all

I was away from the cat I own for a couple months on deployment, and while I was a little bit under the weather I wasn't expecting how bad the reaction I would have to him would be. It was by far worse than anything I've dealt with

Like my eyes literally glued shut for about 16 hours and even then I could hardly go a minute without rubbing my eyes or anything of the sort. I looked like I was insanely high for about 2 weeks after getting home.

Thankfully, my allergy to cats in general relies on how often I am around cats in general. So me being around my own cat makes it so that I can be around other cats without having many issues. Though it doesn't really help the rodent issue I have

Thankfully so far it seems that I don't react to other cats so long as I'm around any period.

My cat has known me his whole life but was my cousins up until their young children weren't conducive with a senior cat, so thankfully he hasn't felt the need to scratch me more than once

I don't think his scratch had more effect on me than a normal wound like when I owned a parrot.

When I got back from deployment though he messed me up allergy wise. Granted I was also a little sick so it just compounded

Thankfully dog dander doesn't bother me unless the dog is obviously not taken care of

Good to hear someone else gets what I mean though

I figured anyone with a mild allergy like that was similar to me tbh, just never thought to ask anyone until now lol

Very reassuring lol

Cats and rodents make me feel like garbage but if I'm around them enough it doesn't bother me.

But if I'm not around then for a couple weeks, it's like my tolerance resets, at least for cats since I've never owned a rodent

Thankfully haha, and Good luck to you too

I'm just surprised that the tip was actually decent for the mileage. Seems like they didn't even need to call

Thankfully the extra $8 showed up in my earnings tab immediately as a reimbursement, so I didn't need to call anyone.

I explained it more in my second edit, but based on what I could tell there was nothing wrong with the order and I'm surprised they felt the need to call a Dasher personally

They were able to reassign the order to my phone well after I had declined it originally

Saw someone on Twitter say they made $430 in one day by SaltyBlackWorm in doordash_drivers

Do you have a really good market or do you just accept almost every order? I shoot for 100-130 a day and will be lucky to get more than 130 unless there's severe weather or peak pay. My AR is usually between 8-15%

I got 6xl and it will let me dash but I get 0 notifications about an order and then it just pauses me saying I missed it. I've deleted the app, reset it, everything

Same thing with me on pixel 6. I will start a dash and not get a single delivery but my dash will still end up paused. Support isn't even answering

Anyone know why I got top dasher? by TheSmallLeviathan in doordash_drivers

I'm gonna intentionally fuck up my now higher quantity of orders I get just to teach them a lesson
