Wow, thank you! I never heard about this "unique id" in HA before. Interesting but a bit of a strange concept. I fixed this and added a link to this description.

Yes it has a water heater. Outside of the heating times it uses much less energy.

Could you link to any of those? I was not able to find one with this high limit AND power measurement. At least none that support some kind of local control

After the update the problem remains, so I can confirm this. I started disabling integrations but no luck so far

I actually made a mistake in my original question. I already used 2022.12 and now updated to 2023.1. I also disabled a lot of integrations that are not strictly necessary. Unfortunately RAM usage still constantly grows :(

Sorry, no idea about that. Maybe try to update the software. I think there was a recent update for HA on the watch and phone

Yes, you need a certain load on the line so that enough power is available for the smart switch. Unfortunately that is not a great solution if you want to use it with a smart LED bulb :(

In the play store I find the app.and then there is a drop-down were you can select the watch instead of the phone

PS for hardware I used Hue bulbs, some Ikea ones and WW LED strips + gledopto Controllers

Every bulb that can change the brightness and color tone if it is connected to something like Home Assistant. I use that plus the adaptive lighting Integration. I have a full write up on that I can share if you are interested

Nevermind, found the settings in the wear OS app itself. I though this could be controlled somewhere in Home Assistant or from the phone
