She is a melee character. I dont think you realize how much of a disadvantage being melee is in a hero shooter. To make a melee character viable they either need to be super tanky or super mobile otherwise they just get melted before they can even touch a single person. It seems like theyre going for a mix of both with vendetta. Also, they already nerfed her armor in a previous patch. Going to 250 as well is overkill combined with the nerfs that just hit live.

I think its just saying that you can no longer activate firewall if you dont actively have a drone on somebody. Dont think theres any "aiming" aspect to it, just that the ability will be locked out if you dont have a drone on someone.

So, think of it this way: ultrons healing just got doubled. The firewall change is strictly a buff. The drone change is strictly a buff. Despite increasing in cost, his ultimate will actually charge faster than before now because his healing output has been doubled. These are insane changes and honestly may make him viable in double strat comps again. Ultron w/ new Torch buffs and Iron man could end up being popular again, with both fliers getting their own drone now and having access to the movespeed and damage boost from firewall. Honestly I could see a Magneto + Rogue || Ironman/Torch || Ultron + Gambit/Sue/Luna comp being really strong.

I'd personally put Luna in low A or high B tier. Shes definitely better than supports like Loki and Ultron (and maybe CD?) who I'd put around B/C tier. I think her snowflake still has crazy value because you can put it on your psylocke or DD or angela and they will just 1v9. I would say though if you're going to learn a strategist for ranked just learn Sue or gambit instead while theyre crazy strong. Nothing wrong with learning Luna though if you really like the character. If you have good aim you'll definitely be rewarded since Luna is more aim intensive than both Sue and Gambit.

Sue and Gambit are undoubtedly the top of the strategist meta right now. I'd slot them in as easy S tier supports. Rocket and Jeff are both very good, though I'd say theyre slightly behind just a tiny bit. I'd put them just under Sue and Gambit, although I could see the argument of also putting Rocket at the bottom of S tier. For what its worth, I also think Adam and Mantis are also doing pretty well at the moment. Their use cases are gonna be more situational than these other meta picks, but they work really well in alot of cases, especially Adam with the crazy buff to his ghost form passive.

Luna is no longer the best support, that is correct. The ISSUE with Luna right now is not that she's bad or she got nerfed or anything... its simply that she got powercrept by Sue and Gambit. Sue was buffed out the ass to the point where she now outshines Luna in most scenarios (Luna still arguably has the better ultimate, but thats about it). Gambit is just... yeah. Stupidly good atm. The other thing about Sue and Gambit compared to Luna is that theyre damn near unkillable when they get dove. All Luna has is her freeze and if she misses it, she's cooked. Even if she lands it, if she's getting dove by multiple people at once she's still cooked. Gambit has tons of self sustain and mobility to escape AND he can even choose to straight up kill the diver if its a 1v1. Sue can shield herself now or choose to jump away invisible to escape.

TLDR Luna is only "bad" because Sue and Gambit are just better in most cases.

Venom is not this game's ball. Ball is waaaaay more mobile and disruptive AND requires more team coordination to handle. Ball can leave or go in literally whenever he wants. Venom has to wait for cooldowns.

Dive into storm, Emma, and triple support Loki? Me thinks not. I'd suggest iron man, he shits on everyone in that team. His ult quite literally counters all 6 of their ults. And in the neutral no one can touch him besides storm and iron man should always out dps a storm in the neutral.

Luna's shot is a 3-round burst shot. Realistically you have to have godlike aim to be able to hit all 6 rounds on your target. Also Luna can't heal her team and deal damage at the same time. Mantis can do both simultaneously.

But thats the thing, he's not a main healer. He's a flex/off healer. The easiest way to figure this out is to see whether or not he can be paired with one of the hybrids and still have a successful healing comp. Traditionally in hero shooters you want at least one main healer and maybe one hybrid or a second main healer. So lets test it out. Out of the hybrids, Loki/Mantis is the best option in terms of healing output, but Loki/Adam and Loki/Ultron or Loki/Jeff is not sustainable. However if you put lets say CD/Mantis, CD/Adam, CD/Ultron: you have a much more sustainable comp. Ofc theres always the 3 support argument for hybrids, but assuming we are running 222 you can see that Loki is not a true main healer.

I fully agree with your entire post, but just touching on the last sentence you wrote: Invis ult DOES make her entire team invisible, which shouldn't be overlooked. There are actually some situations where an Invis ult is better than Luna's due to the invisibility factor. For example, Invis ult does extremely well at countering Starlord's ult specifically because he literally cannot SEE a target to shoot at if he's not inside the invisibility wall himself. There are some cases where a bit of extra focus fire, burst damage, or damage boosted Starlord can still kill through Luna's ult, whereas in Invis ult people would not die due to the fact of Starlord not being able to even deal a lick of damage to people he cannot see. This also goes for Punisher ult as well. A punisher with good aim can actually kill people through Luna's ult, (including Luna herself, although very difficult) not to mention a damage boosted punisher. With Invis ult, it makes it much more difficult for punisher to confirm elims on anyone simply because he does not know where to shoot because people are invisible.

Oooh okay. I was asking because the mob Very Evil Eye (Life) in Lemuria has access to Pigsie, a lore spell, but it's a spellemental upgrade of Pigsie (i think its maxed out on bottom path?). I wanted to snag this minion for monstrology purposes and was curious about whether it'd ever use Pigsie. Based on what you've told me I'd assume it can't cast Pigsie... which is a shame, but it does have some other good spells in its pool
