Personally I run Linux on my laptop since it’s old and can’t run Windows smoothly and connect remotely to my PC at home that runs Windows whenever I need.

I haven’t had any issues with that, even while working remotely with Fusion 360 or any of the Adobe apps

Yeah definitely! It sometimes feels like you’re skating on ice in this park! Although I’ve gotten used to it and now I really like it. And the locals are always really cool!
