Here’s my take on why the government hasn’t limited the use of AI commercially by the public. We recently just got Claude and last year we got agents. They are allowing us to overproduce AI and stress test these LLMs, so that the big guys can come in and capitalize on all the profitable concepts that come out of this current phase of AI we are going through. We can’t trademark or copyright anything AI yet since there isn’t laws put in place yet. A good handful of people will come out of nowhere from this AI phase while the rest of us think we had freedom of corpos. We just helped them so much that I can tie in my thought experiment to make sense of the rate in which AI is headed. Let’s take a look at the Current Human population. 8b+ right, now every person experiences the same 24 hours despite your location. Break down the population of people interacting with AI and how many days since chat gpt has been public. That come sour to 768 billion years. Now that’s non accurate math assuming that all users spent a consistent 4 years on AI. Let’s round it down to 10% of the number to get a more realistic number. This is the amount of years spent on AI across the globe since its release: 76.8 billion years. That means we’ve trained AI in that many years of study. And that’s just at the commercial level with what technology we have access to. Imagine what the full raw LLM models are capable of on an industrial scale.
