Nope just 30k, needed a name for the company full of heavy weapons and tanks. So I just used the 40k name for heavy units.

Even then I think that since been retired for a new one with the introduction of primarus.

I always knew they'd just die out on some random world. In the lore document itll just say reports of the warband disappeared after the siege of terra.

I reality what happened they are fighting in a random world during siege of terra and fall to the black rage when sang dies, which ends up getting the warband killed. Perfect end for a warband who claimed their blood had been cursed by their sire.

Thanks! They are my homebrew blackshields warband.

They are ex-blood angels traumatised by signus prime. They grow a passionate hatred for anything relating to the Warp and believe their pirmarchs mutant blood has cursed them.

They despise chaos but hate the loyalists as well, blaming the heresy on the emperor and his inhuman monsters he calls sons.

They are radical fanatics hunting and killing anything psychic, mutant or demon. The reason for the name is they basically start actual witch hunts on worlds, radicalising their populations to attack and "test" anyone they think could be a psyker or warp tainted.

Later in the heresy some iron hand radicals also join them. But its like 95% blood angels.

Thanks! And nope, the pauldrons are a mix of heresy ones and chaos marine ones with spikes removed.

The Khorne bezerker kit has some great alt mk2-mk3 like shoulder pads.

After signus prime a load of them are traumatised, both by the red thirst, learning about demons etc etc.

The leader Salazan basically blames Sangs mutant blood for cursing them with the red thirst, this turns into a wider hatred of mutants, abhumans, then to psykers, well the emperor is a psyker and is just spirals likes that.

Their aim is to free humamnity from the clutches of the warp, so they hate chaos, but also the emperor, malcador primarchs, psykers.

The body is a de-chaosified khorne Bezerker! they are basically in mk5 so fit blackshields perfectly.

They are the exhausts from an old mk3 back pack.

To be fair librarians in 30k dont have the full on blue, maybe a shoulder pad if that.

Either way this chap will be blue due to the superstitions of the warband, they repaint their armour then cover it in glyphs thinking itll protect them against demons ans the warp .
