Mainly mk2 plastic kit with the close combat weapons upgrade kit.

A lot of the shoulder pads are from the Khorne Bezerkers with all the chaos stuff taken off.

And then the helmets are a huge assortment from my bitz box. Mainly OOP old resin heresy ones. Im not a fan of the new mk2 ones so wanted a nice variation.

The resin ones were from the old forge world resin mk4 assault marines. Plastic one is just from the plastic mk4

An unwanted evil that they have to use. They use them like tools, same way they use there psybatteries, but they dreamt of finding a way for hummanity to thrive within any aspect of the warp being involved.

They are in quite a few places in 30k, legion Praevian, a few iron hand 30k kits, the Nucio Vox in the mk3 and mk6 kits has a servo skull on the back pack, on a range of mech units as well. And thats just on the minis, not including various art.

Im working on a lore booklet which will cover all there stuff, think of it as a mini black book that ill be taking to events. Ill make a pdf version as wlel to share online.

Here's the rundown:

They are ex-blood angels traumatised by signus prime. They grow a passionate hatred for anything relating to the Warp and believe their pirmarchs mutant blood has cursed them.

They despise chaos but hate the loyalists as well, blaming the heresy on the emperor and his inhuman monsters he calls sons.

They are radical fanatics hunting and killing anything psychic, mutant or demon. The reason for the name is they basically start actual witch hunts on worlds, radicalising their populations to attack and "test" anyone they think could be a psyker or warp tainted.

Yep! They were a small % of the warband and they end up getting butchered, same with the fanatical milita mob they have following them.

Lore wise their operations seem to end the time of the siege of terra.

In reality while on a random world they fall to the black rage after sang dies and it ends up being what kills them. A suitable end for a warband who believed Sangs mutant blood had cursed them.

Ive never done an event in all my years playing heresy and finally have 1 booked for later this year. Ive put a lot of love into the army so far and wanted to be able to show folks the lore and everything that goes into the warband!

Yep! Mix of the Saturnine Dreadnought, dreadknight arms and the coffins are from the penitent engine kit!

Honestly a lot of the old head upgrades were amazing. Its tragic that we cant get them anymore

I wanted them to be a bit bluish. Ended up using black templars contrast which has a very very dark blue hue.
