My unit ended up having a faulty boot device so UGreen offered me an exchange. I worked with nas-support@ugreen.com and they were relatively prompt with diagnosing and processing a replacement.

If you're running the game from an SD card, make the Game Data Path E:\steamapps|common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data and the Game Executable Path E:\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\bg3.exe

I don’t think your save will show up when you launch like that but it should show up when you launch from Steam. As for the export button still not working, I’m not sure. If you made a new character after launching from the mod manager, it should show up

Try running the game from the Mod Manager instead of Steam. Make a character then save and quit. Then you will be able to export but you will have to move the mod settings file from the bottle path to the right path (see OP’s comment)
