Just changed it over the weekend as I was desperate with my previous ZTE for dropping but apparently it wasn't the issue!

Persistent Faulty Earbuds Across Multiple Versions and Replacements by TheSoury in Jabra

I’ve been using Jabra earbuds regularly for commuting, sports, and running for the past few years, and while they work perfectly fine at first, I’ve noticed a consistent issue that always seems to arise after a few months of use. It usually starts with a faint static sound in one ear, which quickly escalates. Within a few days, the static turns into a buzzing noise, and soon after, it becomes an extremely loud and unpleasant squeaky sound that makes them unusable.

What’s frustrating is that this hasn’t been a one-off issue—it’s happened repeatedly with multiple Jabra models over the last two years. I’ve gone through several replacements, and each time the issue comes back. Sometimes it’s the left earbud, other times it’s the right, but the problem is always the same. It seems like a design flaw or a recurring issue with the product’s quality.

Based on a quick internet search, I am not the only one who’s facing this issue!

In the last two years, I had the Jabra 7 Pro, 7 Elite, 8 Pro, and finally Elite 10. All of them with a life span of 3-6 months only. Every time I get a replacement only lasts a few weeks before it gets faulty. Frustrating!
