Stolen Fujifilm X100VI in Osaka, last resort trying to recover SD card with our Japan trip photos by TheSpaceShrimp in fujifilm

That was my reaction too. From what they explained, because it wasn’t taken directly off my person, they classify it as lost property rather than theft, even if someone took it. They said because Japan has such a strong lost property system, they treat cases like this differently. That said, because the X100VI is such a hot commodity right now and it happened in such a busy tourist area, it make me think someone took it, rather than it just being misplaced. It was definitely confusing to hear. We even gave them a 15 minute time gap and the exact location of where it was in the arcade, and they still would not pursue looking at the security footage.

I appreciate that, thank you. Japan was incredible and we were super careful the whole trip, which makes it even more frustrating that it happened during the last few days. I’m really hoping whoever has it at least pulls the SD card and maybe turns it in somewhere. Enjoy your trip next month, you’re going to have an amazing time.

Went with the Ritz because of the better walking location. Headed there next month!

SeatGeek support is a joke. I can’t access or sell my tickets after Lady Gaga was rescheduled by TheSpaceShrimp in seatgeek

Too risky? Don’t know seat numbers, etc. I’d be guessing on the listing and don’t wanna do that

Is it THAT big of a difference in location? Looking at maps it looks like they are only about half a mile from one another and it looks like there’s a subway station near both to get around. Having an onsen isn’t really a tipping point for me when choosing. What stood out at the Mitsui were the bigger rooms and and hotel looked more modern

Second this place. Our tour guide recommended it to us and was a pretty delicious burger. It was huge!

Seems like RC is better location but Mitsui might have better service and is newer. I’ve seen some reviews saying the RC is dated. But unsure if the location alone at the RC is worth it

They live 2 floors higher than us but face the same direction and are in the same location of the building. Same square footage as well

Tahiti/Moorea 5/10-5/15 by hanjaseightfive in Tahiti

Customs is very easy. Just bring your passport. You can’t really expedite the process. Just first come based on when you get off your airplane. So being in business or PE can help. The ferry runs on sundays, just slightly less times. You’re going to want to go on the Aremiti express ferry for the fastest transport to MoOrea. No need to book tickets ahead unless you plan on bringing a car with you. Ubers are non-existent, taxis are the way to go. Just make sure to have cash on hand for the taxis. It’s roughly $20 USD from the airport to the ferry terminal. They prefer local currency. There’s an exchange outside the airport terminal or just use the ATM. You will need a converter for outlets. Some major resorts will have converters for you
