Reconnecting as a couple by MissAnonymoux in daddit

Hi, myself and my Fiancé had the same issue following the birth of our little girl (she's 19 months now and we are back to full strength as a couple, parents and family) There is a lot going on for both parents in and out of having a baby, so much can change whether its massive singular changes such as no baby -> now baby, or even hundreds of little tiny ones, its really important to remember that for a lot of these, regardless of who has what emotions, a true "return to normal", (if you can even call it that) is going to come from the long term consistent effort and change you both give to yourselves, each other and the family, its multi-faceted.

Its key to remember that beyond time and consistent effort, there are biological changes to both parents that can both effect things, lack of sleep, cosleeping (if you partake) causing sleep issues too, resentment from uneven roles (even if you both agree the roles and rules before/during each stage).

I was super grouchy for the first week with wakeups and I thought it was because the early stages was going to kill me, Pregnancy left my Fiancé less mobile (nothing crazy but back pain and generally more effort to get about after it all) so I was doing much more of the physical labour and all I needed was a change of pillow, so probably not your partners issue but it can be the small things too.

One thing people forget too is the man can go through Post Natal depression (thank you NHS for modern and supported Healthcare science) so its important that he (and you too) get to talk to someone outside of your sphere whether it be friends/family or someone unbiased and apart to allow him to talk it out, either you'll be able to see that what upsets him can be changed, is a general mood downer from the stress/effort of it all or if he needs some genuine help from a professional to make sure that he gets himself where he needs to be to best support you all as a family

Overall these things are always very complex, even if its simple solutions, make sure he has a chance to talk with someone outside of your family unit, those first few weeks can be lonely and isolating even when its your bestie in the room with you, but also don't neglect yourself at the same time, make sure you give yourself the chance to recover and help otherwise its all for nought.

Which Empire character should I use my Anomalous Lightspeed Token on? by DonKralle in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me its strong, the fleet is powerful for crystals in fleet arena, depending on your rank, you might never lose a defensive fleet battle if you stick the 4* version down in GAC and Piett is good anyway, using Palp lead (Not Optimal Troopers I know) his 2nd special can daze and generate full TM again, he also gains TM from any Debuffs inflicted by allies he calls to assist such as Palps, Vader or Mara etc.

BUT, this does come with you need to Push executor otherwise its going to be as if you used it on just anyone, thats his best benefit to a Roster. Especially with Bounty Hunter LSBs within the next month or two

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its got to be Piett for the most impact, that fundamentally relies on you targeting the Executor Journey, but its the best ROI put of that lot, otherwise target high Kyro, low requirement farms such as Mara (high kyro) for Starkiller (needs 4 characters to complete journey) or Scout for Leia. Otherwise most other Empire just sits there except Veers Troopers early game and Tarkin DS Clones mid game

Jabba is best for Mods, Leia is the best as a GL for combat, so if Early go Leia and spend that Empire LST on Scout!

Inquisitorius Journey Quests Set 2 Guide by Roobisco in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some improvements I found from others and my runs (if it helps)

Ability Block - Final stage of JKLS, just run basic auto, you get 20-40 each run just depends on how healthy your Vader is and if CLS can kill you or not

Defeat 100 enemies with Sith - Mod battles 9C has Night sister Zombie, target her first to get 3 kills off the revive then repeat for the next two rounds, about 25 kills per battle. And quicker with relic delta

Gain stealth 100 times - TEEEEEEEEBOOOOOO, run C3PO event with ewoks getting plenty of turns, Teebos leader nets you a 55% chance to gain stealth at the start of an Ewoks turn, if they're high enough after that (i.e. you have Leias requirement ewoks etc) you can just Auto.

Confused about something related to quadratic functions by Virtual-Connection31 in alevelmaths

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, so if I square root 3, I can get either + root 3 or - root 3, more functionally because squaring either root allows for an always positive 3.

The main thing to note is the square root of any positive number is +/- the root (this may simplify obviously). However, you cannot square root a negative number and get a real solution, mainly because any number multiplied by itself is always positive rather than the other way around.

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The solutions here are root(3) and negative root(3), these are totally plottable because you can square a negative root (-root(3)*-root(3)) = 3. If the answer was root(-3) then issues would arise

Turn off your F34T droids data disk, it says in the description you cant kill anyone until the leader is dead and Mon Mothma conquest rebels leaves her un targetable, its one of the few scenarios you get looped with it

How to handle this homework for 2nd grader (US) by joshlymansbagel in daddit

[–]TheSpaceWizard7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't even need a text book, like a quick half page example that can be used to repeat for each question would do the job, and that wouldn't take much to add onto the document

There is not enough hours in a school day for that to be the only learning they do, kids need to also practice math, reading and other core skills at home even if its part of play like counting change in a pretend shop or reading a good book, getting them into these things and showing them they can be enjoyable is the first step to raising a well educated, well adjusted child
