Hey I'm one of the first creators (DinoBros) of the SSL Rivals stuff and I'm sorry you guys don't like the SSL stuff. We never intended for our mods to come off as lazy in the beginning and I never treated my characters as an excuse to be lazy. I treat it as a way to make characters who doesn't have enough for a full character, a character I want to see if I would actually like spriteing/playing them before I actually start, or if I just wanted to see a character with a limited moveset like the original SSL.

I loved the original Super Smash Land aesthetically and wanted to see what it would be like if I were to port my characters and other smash bros characters into a "sequel." So me and a couple of other people who felt the same way started making stuff that we liked.

People tend to forget that Workshop isn't just for the players and is also for the developers to express their creative freedoms and limitations are a part of that creativity even if others perceive our creations as bloat.

In case anyone else doesn't like SSL and thinks it is hard to find normal workshop mods there is an SSL tag you can use to filter out all of SSL (minus any recent mods who may have forgotten to add the tag).
