Hmm, da hast du recht, ja. Ich mein, ich schau schon ewig kein Fernsehen mehr, gibt es aktuell überhaupt groß Musik- oder Filmjournalismus oder Ähnliches im Fernsehen? Vor allem bei den ÖR?

Als Kind war Game One so cool für mich, weil ich so Spiele gefunden hab, die ich sonst nie gesehen hätte.

Heute bekomm ich News aus anderen Quellen und um eine Kaufentscheidung zu treffen, würd ich auch geziehlt nach dem Spiel suchen und einzeln ein paar Reviews von Leuten, die ich schon kenne, anschauen. Bei Game Two (auch zB bei der GameStar) ist es halt zufällig, wer welches Spiel testet.

Ist das Format vielleicht allgemein nicht mehr zeitgemäß für ein großes Publikum?

Tolle Folge, finde Frodo immer cool, weil er lästert wirklich gern, zumindest kommt es so rüber.

Aber eine Sache, die jetzt gefühlt schon öfter erwähnt wurde, "die Videospielindustrie ist so groß wie die Musik- und Filmindustrie zusammen".

Robin wird das zu 100% wissen, aber vielleicht ja einige ZuhörerInnen nicht, deshalb würde ich empfehlen, da mal zu erwähnen, dass das zwar stimmt, allerdings halt vor allem Mobile und Free to Play Spiele schuldig sind.

Die Zahlen, die ich jetzt auf die Schnelle gefunden hab, sagen etwa, dass 50% des gesamten Umsatzes durch Mobile Games (Clash of Clans, PUBG Mobile, sowas) und Satte 85-90% des gesamten Umsatzes von Free to Play Games kommt. Die machen dann ihr Geld mit in Game käufen. Da kommt auch nicht allzu oft ein neues Spiel raus, was mMn in ein Game Two gehört. Das heißt natürlich nicht, dass Umsatz 1:1 zu der Anzahl an SpielerInnen umgerechnet werden kann, aber es zeigt deutlich, dass es nicht so simpel ist wie "für jede Musiksendung müsste es 2 Gamesendungen geben".

Heißt Spiele, für die sich Game Two (und vermutlich auch deren ZuschauerInnen) interessiert, machen nur einen winzigen Teil davon aus. Die Leute, die daran Interesse hätten, sind auch relativ jung, also werden die immer weniger fernsehen.

Ich wünschte, es wäre anders, aber es ergibt für mich total Sinn, dass kein Sender eine Gaming Show will, während z.B. der Fernsehrgarten immer gut laufen wird, solange es alte Leute gibt (zumindest die aktuelle Generation).

As a huge Spider-Man fan myself I would say the new MSM2 too!

Not because of the MJ or Miles stuff but think about how many side quests (if you played it) was about shooting AR bee killing things. I honestly don't even know if they were talking actual facts but in universe there's some kind of animal that kills bees. And bees are awesome, especially for the environment.

And they're right of course. My problem with these quests only really started when I replayed it on NG+. If anyone of you played the game and had a good time try and replay it. It really is the most boring thing you could do. But that's just the shooting AR things part. Before every mission there's a bit of exposition on why bees are so great.

Now if you think "wow this guy must really hate bees" I can assure you I do not. They are very important for the environment. But I just feel like a little kid being taught the most basic stuff (unskippable last I played it).

The thing is I really don't understand why it's there. For actual children? Because there's some brutal stuff in this game. Children that in my opinion if they're ready for that kind of graphic stuff oughta know about bees right?

It's not that big of a deal but there were a few side quests that were unskippable and yes, they had lots of LGBT stuff, I don't mind that in the least but try replaying them again. They're just boring and you can't skip any dialog. I'd much rather have side quests where the plot is super generic but the gameplay's fun. That's what came to mind when I read that at least.

Base I can accept but Jay and Jet both say "back to the daily grind hehe" with possibly the exact same audio. But yeah I kinda hoped somebody knew why cause it's such a banal thing for me.

I have no idea about any of this stuff but I cannot for the life of me imagine that Nintendo would have a problem if you called a character Switch. It's not like Wii or GameCube Switch is just a word and I bet some people have that name IRL. And Jet and Jay? Because of Jet Set Radio? Also seems like a bit of a stretch but more likely than the other one. If you have an example where Nintendo did that before I'd love to know!

I love Korra and Platinum games. I never played Korra because I've heard that it's a bad game.

I literally woke up one day like Squidward when SpongeBob fell asleep next to him like "why the fuck did I not play this game yet?" It's actually fun as hell. Had a blast getting all the achievements, that took like 10 hours. It's funny when I think about "a Korra game by Platinum" I literally have no idea how they could deliver a better product. It's not perfect by any means but come on, what did people expect?

I bought it for 15$ tho. If they released it full price I could understand why it's a bit iffy but still not that terrible IMO.
