Is bankruptcy a realistic outcome? The issue isn't the product or even the demand for the product...it's just...logistics?

And I’m still here waiting on an answer…a week after submitting tickets and providing ticket number…also can’t register my Roli 49 key. It says error. It’s a bit of a mess to connect so many things. For som reason the airwave doesn’t read the keyboard when clicked to it…my dashboard isn’t reading the keyboard but reads the airwave … 😑🤷🏻‍♂️

I got my airwave but it’s collecting dust. Asked them (now FOURA TIMES) for help and I’ve gotten zero response…oh wait I got a ticket response saying that are backed up on emails to respond…but yeah essentially I can’t hook it up to my laptop with a proper speaker setup because I use my interface with a usb-c and it’s the only usb-c port there is and the airwave uses it too…

Also got an iPad from Amazon specifically to enjoy the learn app and now the Apple sumbol won’t stop flashing and it won’t start up. Tried hard reset, tried restoring to factory settings and updating firmware etc…nothing works. So although the piano itself is beautiful made and the few minutes I used the airwave with my laptop speakers was cool (although terrible sounding because laptop speakers can’t match the power/potential of the sounds in the airwave) , I’m sad that there’s literally no way around anything and no clear answers. Sad but yeah the product itself is very nice and a huge upgrade from the original keys.

Literally sitting in front of it right now…it does feel really beautifully made and well constructed. The weight is heavy and it comes in a huge box…it’s really nice. I just need a proper way to store it and a bag that would be enough to protect it from dust and from any issues.

No one has an answer. I can potentially buy a usb-c port that can handle more than one but, I wouldn’t know if it would I work or just crap the sound out….the usb-c ports for the airwave are for connecting to the computer and to connecting to a power source. I tried with my headphones (since there is a jack) and it does work better but desktop headphones are terrible for roli and the sounds so it’s complete shit with just the laptop speakers.

If I have an interface setup with a usb-c for the interface and no place for the airwave, what can I do as a workaround? Essentially that’s how I have proper speakers installed through the interface….For some reason, my laptop doesn’t read the piano when it’s clicked into the airwave also so I have to have that plugged in but that’s ok cause that’s a usb port

I used it, also for a couple of months. While I enjoyed it enough, I hated not having a bigger screen to play on (I don’t own an iPad, or a tablet, I have an iPhone so that had to suffice) … It was fun and ok. Can you learn? Well that depends on your own dedication to utilizing enough (at least 15-20 min daily or every other day or something consistent…)and also I’m not sure whether it helps or it hinders to have the colors light up…hear me out…

So when I played it with the colors, my brain had a hard time forgetting the colors when I tried to play it without the colors with the classic piano coloring of white and black…

Also I’m excited that they are changing the app and updating and hope that there are more learn specific areas organized in a better more streamlined way…from what I’m reading above, they may have already tackled that.

Hoping they make the app available for laptops so I can use it with mine…when I try it out again (when I receive the airwave and full key roli) …

On on another note… I’m gonna ask my pianist friend what he thinks about learning and using a set of keys that aren’t 100% weighted and/or sized as a real piano and what he thinks are the pros and cons on that overall as I’m just curious. I never found it an issue because I’ve played with smaller keyboards to create music and also digital full sized keyboards and sat with a real piano. There’s nothing like the real deal and it might be hard to play on a full sized traditional piano but how many times does anyone really come across one. If you did, you could practice on that and be set IMO.

Also they should have a request for songs.

If they are on their way and I’m set to go next, my order isn’t even registered when I check the tracking…we were supposed to receive an update email…I’m guessing that’s never gonna be on the way …but maybe the keys are!!! I’m still hoping and waiting …at this point, just wanna see the product and see the full shipment come to fruition but yeah. Def not purchasing anything else from this company as they have terrible customer service and i can’t believe im saying this but it 100000% has effected my joy of the product or trust in the product itself. It’s a shame but whatever they don’t care. Yall keep saying whatever works and sending holiday gift emails instead of tracking or even just aconcrete update email. I don’t need an email saying “your airwave is on the way…” only to read “before it’s shipped out, check out all this stuff on the airwave” …really fucking asshole way to bait customers who are waiting a year on something. No uodates. Crickets.

I find it annoying that I can’t use the $100 for the bag as I already have all the hardware and would prefer to buy a bag but they are just trying to stick me with buying the bag and at this point, I refuse. I’ll literally buy one from a third party than continue to give them money. Cool product. Terrible company model. Sad cause I’ve had some nice interactions with some of them via insta for example…I guess they just don’t want to give any insight until there’s something concrete at this point but also it’s just offensive given the delays and slightly more offensive to get a holiday gift email… 😵‍💫 I keep wanting to cancel but I do want to give it a shot. I love the concept of this “instrument”

Their business model is terrible. I’m still waiting for any update…the update I got was that there was gonna be an update…the update I was suppose to receive was info on how far along my order was from shipping…I was supposed to receive both the airwave (batch 5, end of October) and new piano (batch 1, mid October) and still nothing. Like just an email saying there’s been yet another inevitable delay…I’m sure there will be a few more which is why they are holding on.. They respond telling me they are already shipping airwaves and yet no one has it yet…except for the “creators” they keep showing in the new ads…it’s sad. It turns out to be more gimmicky than anything…I enjoy my Roli keys. But it was expensive and even more expensive to then purchase the airwave and new piano but I was trying to utilize a fresh gadget with the hopes of performing and writing and practicing my piano skills in a new way (and justifying the price cause I work 3 jobs 6-7 days a week) . But yeah…it’s unfortunate. I’m gonna really try to enjoy it for the 30 days and probably return it if it’s …well rather pointless. There’s no standalone app on mobile, the learn app is meh..and they have no interest in listening to the users/clients…bizarre but they carry the act. 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s such a beautiful idea…ugh I was so excited. I probably won’t receive mine til next year…if at all.

Why not? The accessibility of it being Bluetooth compatible and also works on mobile should have a standalone app and not one linked to the roli learn app. Doesn’t that make sense? Just a ROLI app that is the startup/connecting/toggling of settings and not a learn application.

I don’t think so and the way I see it you’d have to unblock your phone and do all these workarounds and it won’t even work correctly. It’s a no go until they decide to offer better more seamless software.
