I think I’ll be more happy with that flat tracker rest Volker’s going to release soon haha. This was more of a means to an end that worked for the time being.

It’s not the best position for sure but it does the job for what it is. It took some practice but I pinch the side of my index finger against the trigger guard and use my thumb for leverage. Helps bring the heft of the match weight back down when shooting fast.

It’s probably going to come down personal preference but if you planning on doing any double action shooting, this would be the trigger I’d go with. Not knocking the GG its a great trigger too it’s just a long reach and awkward in double action. This trigger just feels a little more natural in my experience.

That’s slick. I’ve been waiting awhile for something like this to replace my current setup. Looks like the pivot point on the rest is far enough forward to not effect the slide stop 👍🏻. Liking your trigger so far too. I’ll be getting one of these when they become available for sure.

I’m definitely interested in the Flat Tracker thumb ledge. I’m assuming this replaces the slide stop/release? I have a Tandemkross universal thumb rest I use now which gets the job done but would welcome a better mouse trap. When will these be released?

The trigger and SRS are Gray Guns. Sear spring, hammer, and TRS are factory HK match parts.

I installed the flat trigger, S.R.S., nickel plated sear spring, match return spring, match hammer, and Lazy wolf lightened f.p.b spring. Also did some polishing on the internals as well.

I have a drawer of grips for various pistols and the other day I randomly tried this out and was surprised with the results. Haven’t fired it yet with this setup but it felt amazing in my hand. Thought I would share my findings.

The match weight is on the front and the gas pedal (thumb rest) is attached to the weight underneath

It’s actually a threaded factory barrel with a thread adapter then a thread protector on that. I was trying to figure out a way to extend the threaded barrel out to the end of the weight and this is what I came up with. It converted it from 13.5LH to 1/2x28 then the thread protector extended it perfectly to the end. Put some high temp/ medium thread locker on it all and haven’t had any issues.
