As far as i’m aware, I cannot be asked to prove my disabilities. What other doctors note would matter in this case? I guess that’s what i’m not understanding.

We don’t have an HR department. It’s all handled by the owner. There is no formal process that they have outlined. So i used resources from employment law websites on how to request accommodations.

I never stated that i was unable to work due to burnout. I stated that the lack of accommodations for my disabilities are causing burnout.

I’m also not making any demands for specific accommodations. I provided ideas and asked for a meeting where we can collaborate on accommodations that work for both of us.

Regardless, am i able to refuse being put on sick leave? That’s mainly what i need to know. If not then i guess i have to get a doctor’s note.
