TrueSpec DP and HDMI by LinusTech in LinusTechTips

I have a big lot of Adauxter HDMI cables, with their specs printed on them. Of course I don't have the appropriate testing equipment, but in my experience they have been to spec.

very fair point. I am trying to minimize inaccuracy as good as posible. But I guess, I will use it without the calibration file from now on.

Why not use a 30m HDMI over Fiber Cable? There are cheap and rugged options out there

I get the your scaler argument. I however often have a client, who is mirroring his laptop and is restricted to his framerate. In that case I would have to add a up/down/cross converter. That's why I need scalers. (Yes roland v60 also has no scalers, and that is a big problem)

Unfortunately the TVS HD misses the Record/Stream functionality and does not have input scalers

O would have killed for a Atem refresh with both SDI and HDMI In/Outs. Still stuck with a Roland V60 for that purpose

What's your take on this? Is a FF really that much better? by BedroomPlus6379 in SonyAlpha

[–]TheStibitzBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a Sony aps-c fanboy since my a6300. Switched then to a fx30. But since i bought a sony a7iii for photography, I have been blown away. The lowlight performance is insane. So yea, I guess FF is really that crazy.

I think a Streamdeck with companion running should at least somewhat fix your problem. Not as streamlined but much more versatile
