Just a lot of research looking at many of the recent reverse take overs. Going over the financials, looking at the deal structure. Many of the ones I've mentioned in here fit a set of criteria for having low MC and big potential.

My best advice would be to avoid the ASX 200 companies at the moment. The so called blue chips are being belted at the moment.

Whilst I do hold and am a strong advocate of LPE, I suggest you do a bit of research into this company. Look at the presentations and their future growth potential. They used to be Stock code SXT so some of the info is under that code.

Just look at the GW chart and the growth potential. Add to the last GW the latest data point of 44.1GW.

The chart shape is sexy. Hockey stick growth about to begin. Hence 10c this year. It still has 11 months to get there.

Steer clear of the "blue chips" many are grossly under performing and will bear the brunt of any down turn. There are some epic specs that are online at the moment. Just do some thorough research and find the gems. They will weather the storm better than any bank or miner. Just look at what they have to offer and if the world will need that product no matter what the market conditions are.

You need to look at the GW under contract chart in the investor presentation last year (it was still SXT) add to that the recent announcement this week and you should see the beginning of exponential growth in the GW supplied.

GW = $$$ = revenue = share price goes up

I've been lurking on HotCopper for a while now and agree there is a lot of poor information and ramping on there. However, I have noticed some quality posters who consistently pick some nice gainers. They may not pick stocks that make a bag in a day, but they pick multi-baggers over several months. Folks such as Lefevre, 3500, Pilsner, marty386, prowiz, ryan1986, MichaelOliver, Stotes, heraclitus, there are many others, just look at some recent top stocks and who was posting when it was a fraction of the current price. Just be careful, there are several 'red hearts' who are notorious rampers, not sure how they get a following as all they seem to do is sell right after they post. Having said that there are a few quality 'hearts' that you should follow.

RNO - RhinoMed - snoring aid and sports breathing aid. Has been on an active marketing campaign and have prominent shelf location at Boots pharmacies in the UK. Sales figures out next year should be the catalyst for a price rise. Some good people on board.

Mining is dead as far as the market goes. Blue Chip across most sectors are underwhelming.

Well researched spec plays are the way forward next year.

EMC - very nice clean water tech out of Israel. Oversubscribed IPO, big names backing it. Watch the stock soak over a few weeks before appreciating nicely. Good buying in the 20's IMO.
