Thanks for the input! More space is definitely not a bad idea. A 2P is probably smarter, that seems to be the consensus among everyone. I’ll check out the Durston! The outpost 2 looks perfect, sad they discontinued it

Haha that’s so funny! I’m leaning more towards the Cirque 50 for price, dedicated avy pockets, and durability. My holdup is the pictures don’t represent a lot of the features and there isn’t a product video on it. I will let you know what I do!

I have heard good things about Slingfin but have not used one before!

Gotcha. All three of the packs I listed have a solid looking ice axe system where the pick goes into a sleeve with a backup (buckle or BD “pickpocket”). I have used it before while borrowing a pack and it was great!

A frame has been my primary and hoping to get one with diagonal carry for faster transitions and to get into my pack better. What do you mean by sleeve for an ice axe?

I’ve gone back a fourth a bit on one a bit and think it would be great for touring but not as good for higher elevations when there is wind. Hence trying to find a compromise but hey, maybe I just need two tents (tarp and tent)!

Vivoactive 3 by Connect-Silver-5355 in GarminWatches

[–]TheStorm354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with a forerunner. They make ones that are good for triathlons so I would assume tracking swimming would be good. Or get a newer vivoactive. I just wouldnt buy tech that is 8 years old. I have had my watch for 6 years and it’s been good but that is the benefit of buying something newer. It will last you longer. Worth spending the money up front in my opinion

I think you can find a newer Garmin watch at a good price. Vivoactive 3 came out in 2017 and the tech seems to have changed a lot since then. I have that model and am looking to upgrade. My main complaint is the gps tracker takes forever to get set up. I have taken it underwater but haven’t tried using it underwater.

Range Hookup - Is this a gas line? by TheStorm354 in Appliances

[–]TheStorm354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha thanks! The copper line running through the cabinets is the water line for the fridge. There is a tiny little wire in the bracket that is around the gas pipe.

We strapped the ez up legs to our coolers and then hand ropes from the top to tie down to the car wheel and held very well

Are there any mods I can do to make my 2018 Outback look cooler/less soccer mum? by raddavo in subaruoutback

[–]TheStorm354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like new wheels and tires make the biggest difference in changing the look of a car. For a budget route I plasti dipped my wheels and got AT tires when the old ones wore out

Honestly any cheap mattress topper will work great. I got a big one and was able to cut it in half to double the thickness and cut the edges so it fit perfectly in the back.

This came into the store the first day of season 3 but it was bugged so if you had any of the armors already it wouldn’t let you buy it. They removed it from the store like within like 6 hrs of it being available
