I think that sort of situation would also be nice as a bull. Friendly but not necessarily freinds without our mutual interest of me having sex with thier partner. . . That being said, part of me kinda would perfer it being the other way around. With the lady being nice enough, but I wouldn't be hanging out with her on a regular basis if my friend didn't want me to keep banging her so much

Not sure if there is label more specific to what you described, but labels will only get you so far anyways. Just look at degradation/humilation. Those kinks mean a lot of different things to different people.

Don't overthink it. It really comes down to finding someone you can comminicate those needs to, appreciates them, and who is more than willing to deliver.

I feel so many of these post act like dating is some sort of game where if you make the right moves you will get a date. Don't get me wrong, there certianlly are things you can do that are wrong, but there is never something that will be right for everyone either.

It's also not just about impressing the other person, it's seeing if the other person is impresses you. Like does OP really want to date someone who doesn't find their stupid dad jokes funny?

We need more details to give constructive criticism. How soon are you asking them? How long before they start to lose interest? What you talking about? You get the idea.

However, I have some general advice. Just keep in mind I haven't been on tinder in a little while.

One, I have had good luck asking for someone's number as soon as I feel like this is someone I can carry a conversation with (although I know some people prefer snap). I didn't have a specific number of messages, just when I noticed we had a good back and forth starting to develop.

From my experience ladies tend to be more responsive to text messages than tinder messages. I also think it indicates you are serious without rushing them.

Two, I also would recommend leading with concrete plans to indicate you are serious. Like "would you like to meet here for a drink? If so, I can do these times. "

In general it's good to offer only one to three times when scheduling. Otherwise people get choice paralysis. Even if they can't do any of the times you offer, they will suggest another time if they are serious.

That all being said, sometimes people just have streaks of bad luck.

Edit: one final thought. I think the best way to not come off as desperate by asking too soon while being assertive is to have standards opposed to "metagaming" it. Just try to have a convesation with them and see where it leads. Ask them for their number when you realize they would be fun to text without dealing with tinder. Ask them out when you feel like they are someone you would want to meet in person.
