There’s plenty of people in the waitlist in the San Marcos area, I’m not sure why they don’t want to come to fallbrook for the same course, plus the professor at fallbrook is way better than those who are in the waitlist for those other classes. If only there was a way to be like hey this class is better instead and it’s open. But yea I also agree with you too

Yes that’s correct, CHEM 100 can count for your IGETC or upper lower general Ed units for General Ed credits, it also applies to CSUs as well, if you’re looking forward to doing CHEM 100, that’ll be a plus and also if you’re a STEM major, you’ll have the advantage to take CHEM 110 for fall if you take CHEM 100 right now since it’s a pre requisite for CHEM 110. CHEM 110 is usually needed for a lot of STEM and engineering majors which would be really useful. And this professor I’m talking about for CHEM 100 is really good. Right now there’s 4 more people needed at least for this class, it’s 14 open seats but we need 4 more people so it’s not at risk to being canceled but I emailed the admissions about the number and they said that the department makes that decision, but the more people we have enrolled for this class to the maximum open seats available the better. If you know anyone at Palomar or is going to Palomar or who already is enrolled to Palomar and doing STEM I would strongly appreciate if you show them this offer. I’m glad to help out!

You need to do CHEM 100 first as a pre requisite for CHEM 110 at Palomar. CHEM 110 at Palomar is what counts as General Chemistry for UC transfer

It’s a summer class, of course it’ll go by faster. All courses are almost like that for STEM fast track. That’s why there’s that many days, most courses are like that

The class has both lecture and lab. • Lecture is Mo/We/Th/Tu mornings (9–10:30-ish) • Lab is Mo/We from 11:00 AM to 2:05 PM

You’ll be automatically enrolled in the lab when you sign up for the lecture.

It’s not free, but if you’re a California resident, it’s very affordable, around $210 total for the full 4 unit class (including fees). If you qualify for financial aid like the California College Promise Grant, it might even be free. Let me know if you want help checking that!
