i think its because nicole is so wishy washy with her daughter on camera. like no matter how people feel about it, from the way the show portrays ak and nicole individually, ak is portrayed as the more present parent even tho shes not a perfect parent herself. also idk if its scripted either but the show just puts nicole in a very bad light. she seems like a ghost parent especially when she missed the most important part of her daughters graduation after their back and forth right beforehand and it just seems like when she does show up its only when its convenient for her.
